One look at dexter and he'll be like "am i seriously the only one seeing this? He's not even trying.. HE'S MONOLOGUING IN HIS HEAD RIGHT NOW"

The real question is would Patrick go after Dexter, he has shown countless times he’s okay with killers taking out other killers, in fact he does that himself a couple times too, baiting red john into killing the psychiatrist

He didn't put red John behind bars because he didn't want to. He WANTED to face him alone. He knew who he was in those lasts episodes. He could have easily put him behind bars. He just chose not to.

The Mentalist should honestly be revived. The show deserves a lot more credit than it has gotten

Jane v Dex would be like spy v spy.  Both emotionally stunted, both comfortable with vigilante justice, both keenly observant and aware of threats around them.  This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship, Jane doesn’t fit the code, and Dexter only kills killers, something Jane is comfortable with.  I  see the two of them more as friends than adversaries, and in certain cases, working together.

Lol
Jane once saw a guy walking down the road for like 2 seconds, just saw him, didn't converse or anything with him , and predicted that he's on brink of collapse and is going to kill soon , and set trap for him accordingly

I am pretty sure that Jane will have 2 dialogues with this guys (expect for maybe Hannibal) and conclude that they are killers

You do realize that Patrick didn't want to put Red John behind bars, right? That was never his intent. He was very open with his intent through the entire series, even when on trial.

I think the one in this list who really can kill Jane is Hannibal because Anton would be not enough careful as Red John that can put him behind bars

8:23 I actually see Patrick jane  teaming up with dexter for the purpose of helping him take out red john, once he learns his background story, how his mother was murdered i see him being sympathetic and joining forces with him helping him conceal his secret of killing serial killers while working together to catch criminals for the CBI. Lol  😁😊😉🔥💯👍🏻

A mentalist video??? In this economy???

I think Hannibal would become obsessed with Patrick. Doing the same thing he did to Graham in the series. And make Patrick the serial killer!!

Hannibal and Jane are probably on the same intellectual level but the problem in this video is in my opinion that while Jane would try to provoke Hannibal, the cannibal would most likely trigger Jane the same if not more brutal. Plus Hannibal would most likely turn Jane's comrades against, sow seeds of distrust

Jane catches everyone here except Hannibal Lecter and it is very close. In cat and mouse, I think Hannibal will end up killing him.

Patrick would definetly identify dexter as a serial killer, but he would recognize that he only kills killers and be ok with it.
dexter on the other hand would realize that patrick caugth on to him and get talk with him (in private or after abducting him doesn't matter).
and in that conversation they would find together.
Dexter would realize that patrick knew for a while and didnt snitch and patrick would learn about the code.
In the end they would become friends where patrick becomes a kind of psychatrist for dexter and help him work out his feelings and blending in, and dexter would help preparing patrick for his showdown with red john and be his wingman.

Problem with getting into Lecter's mind is  he gets into Jane's and he could turn that rage and guilt about Red John into a tool to get Jane to kill an innocent further hurting his psyche and breaking him .

The only one who would see Patrick Jane's psychological traps is Hannibal maby dexter

I think Dr.Lector would love to eat Jane.

i didn't watch the mentalist yet but i feel like jane would have the same moral code as lundy, 'you can take a human life if it is to save one', i think he'll allow him to go after killers.

I feel like you're underestimating his backup here. Anton would, at most, get one of the CBI team before he gets put down.

Even if you just limit Jane's backup to Lisbon, I'd back Jane to read him as a threat before he could strike.
