Who wins in a fight Godzilla or Shin Godzilla?

Fun fact: Shins evolution has no end as he can evolve to literally anything it’s believed that he will evolve and grow so much that he will become a universe himself

This movie is also a criticism on the bureaucracy that worsened the fukushima nuclear disaster

5:11 Godzilla was originaly a mostly purely Japanese franchise. Toho has separate rights to it and this is a completely different story from the Monster verse franchise

Fun fact: the size of its eyes never changes. The reason they look smaller in its 4th form is just because of how much bigger it got

Bro, i saw the thumbnail and IMMEDIATELY clicked. This gonna be so fucking fire

The explaination for the blood: When Godzilla evolves, he sheds excess tissues no longer needed in his new form. This results in the blood that poured down into the freeway, and later that spills out of his gills.

Fun fact: the Godzilla in this series is tragic, it wants to die, the song that plays when he does his atomic breath/ the lasers lyrics are talking about Godzilla. Also when he spits out all of his atomic breath and goes to sleep you can see how calm he is cuz he released all his radiation

the anger you had about the government waiting so long to take action is the point. This movie is a metaphor about the earthquake, tsunami and power plant disaster that took place in japan and is a common sentiment held by the people effected by the disaster

40:14 "OHH MY- baddie.. OHHH MYY GOO-"

10:06 yes shin godzilla is leaking out his own blood because hes dying by being on land in that form

shin godzilla is in pain all day every day when he roars he screams out in pain the mind wants to die but the body fights to live he doesnt want to exist at all its a tragic story from every point of view if you listen to the song who will know its about his suffering and in the film plays during the atomic breath scene showing his true emotions during that event

Fun fact: shin godzilla was planned to have 8-10 forms, but to keep the movie short they had japan freeze godzilla ultimately ending him at the very very beginning of his 5th form

There's actually a deleted scene of people finding peaces of meat that fell off Godzilla after their attacks on it, and they saw that teeth and eyes were growing on them, they even find some vaguely resembling Godzilla's head. So if they did shot him down early on without fully understanding his mechanics yet, i don't think the world would have been able to survive that many Godzillas.

Regarding your questions to Godzilla's tail:

The tail is its own organism, which is why the very end of the tail is actually a head that looks like a botched circumcision. It can be more cleanly seen on action figure representations of Shin Godzilla, like the S.H. Monsterarts figures. It's why the tail had teeth at the very end, and why it was able to shoot an Atomic Breath by itself.

This version of Godzilla is an organism that is in constant pain and agony. His body is all ripped open with bloody wounds. When he roars, he screams due to the never ending pain. He wants to die, but his body won't let him. The body thus adapts to the surrounding environment in a very painful way. Whenever Godzilla comes across an obstacle that he couldn't overcome in his current form, his body adapted accordingly and evolved to overcome that obstacle. The very last shot of the movie suggests that, since humans were the lastest obstacle working together to stop Godzilla, the tail would've split up into Godzilla-Human hybrid beings that would endlessly duplicate and overrun the humans to defeat them. Had Godzilla not been frozen solid and killed, this ever evolving creature could've eventually become its own universal entity.

Theres 2 voices representing godzilla. The high pitch voice just wants the pain to stop
And the lower pitch voice thinks that by fighting and causing destruction theres a slight chance that the pain could stop

This film is incredible, but it becomes so much more powerful when you realize its a direct criticism of the government's response to the Fukushima disaster. The imagery alone is so haunting. Hideaki Anno is such a brilliant filmmaker.

One fact everyone should know is that the only reason why shin is screaming and roaring is because he is in pain because of his evolving

52:13 she got cake as well is crazy💀😭

Fun Fact: Shin Godzilla's blood gets boiling hot and when it roars it means it's in pain and wants to cool down. Shin Godzilla ran back to the water to cool down as it is in pain.
