R.I.P Kaylee Hottle, deaf actress Kaylee Hottle, who plays as Jia, died on the way to the hospital, due to blunt force in a single car accident, may you rest in peace đ
I said something similar on the first upload of this but basically 1. Godzilla didn't kill Kong in Hong Kong because even when Kong was defeated, he was still willing to roar back and try to fight, Godzilla knew that he wouldn't be a risk anymore and actually respected the fact he was willing to keep fighting, thus leaving him to either die from his wounds or get up and run. 2. The Ghidorah skull was sentient the entire time, however it laid dormant waiting for enough power, it knew that humanity would find a greater power and waited until they got the energy, this is when it took control and obviously went straight to business. 3. Godzilla's atomic breath was more powerful than Mecha Godzilla's proton scream but Godzilla was already tired from fighting Kong and making a hole down to the Hollow Earth, meaning Mecha Godzilla was able to win the fight of the lasers. 4. The axe blade is the back spike of a dead godzilla, that's why it can hold that radiation and why Godzilla is so attracted to it. I'm not entirely certain on the 2nd one but for memory that's what it was.
27:14 That's Doug. The fans love Doug. As for the screaming at each over part, you know at the end of K.O.T.M when Godzilla roared and all of the other monsters bowed to him him as king? He tried the same with Kong but since Kong is also a potential king, he did the same roar back. Knowing Kong wasn't going to bow and his heart was giving out, Godzilla respected Kong's choice and chose to leave him instead of killing him himself.
I like the angle that these movies took with Godzilla. He's basically like 'look, my job is to maintain the natural order. You can either help me, or you can step aside. But get in my way, and I'll crush you.'
When Godzilla roared at Kong, Godzilla wasnât expecting Kong to roar back. But when Kong did roar back, Godzilla respected that Kong would still roar even after defeat. Long story short, Godzilla kept Kong alive out of respect
If you're confused about Godzilla and Kong's interaction, try to look back and pay attention to their nods and gestures, cuz: 1. After Godzilla and Kong had a roaring banter, Godzilla gave Kong a nod and walked away. By that point Kong was beaten so there's no point in finishing the job because in the first place, Godzilla was merely disciplining Kong for getting out of his territory because Godzilla is wary about rogue Titans roaming around the country making a mess like the MUTOs. 2. By the end of the movie, Godzilla gestured to Kong again with a sideway nod telling Kong to drop the axe, and basically they just called it even.
Also some details you might have missed: 1. Bernie clearly said they used Ghidorah's skull to use his telephatic ability to help bridge the mind of the pilot into Mechagodzilla. And you remember when they were testing it, it was only operable up to 40%. So when Mechagodzilla went rogue, it's not the energy making it sentient. It's Ghidorah finally taking control when Mechagodzilla is finally 100% operable. 2. The hint that it was another Titan inside MechaG was hinted throughout the movie, like the sound the eye ball was making is literally the one luring Godzilla. You remember how they kept playing with bioaccustics in King of The Monsters? How it plays out as their identification, method of communication, and that it was how the Titans could track/call one another across the globe? Well, Godzilla heard it and knew it was Ghidorah's bioaccustics, which is why he's being so aggresive. 3. Kong's axe was literally made out of bone as handle and Godzilla-kin dorsal spike as blade. That's why it could charge in the atomic breath/the Hollow Earth energy. It is also why you saw how the line up of the other axes along with the lit up blue energy created a mural of Godzilla. Which is also why the moment Kong triggered the axes to lit up, Godzilla could feel it then decided to blow an overcharged atomic breath all the way into Kong's location
At 37:19 Godzilla was basically saying â stay out of my territory and donât come backâ.Godzilla didnât kill Kong because he was showing respect that he fought back and didnât give up. Hope this help
It is said that godzilla only got his shit rocked by mechagodzilla because he already lost half of his strength fighting kong. If he was fully rested and not fatigued he wouldâve handled mecha on his own
33:22 I love how Kong looked into the cockpit first to see who was inside. If she wouldâve kidnapped the little girl she couldâve gotten back to the top safely. 35:52 heâs gotta climb on the buildings to get elevation over Godzilla. 37:20 Godzilla âSTAY DOWNâ Kong âALRIGHTâ. 38:21 the alien dna is still active in the skull and took over MechaGodzilla. Godzilla could sense the alien being from the battle from the last movie. 41:47 Martin Riggs moment there.
