Your innocence to Pantera is cute

R.I.P. Dimebag & Vinnie Paul

One of the greatest bands of my teenage life.

All of Pantera’s albums are worth a listen. The change and evolution of their music from 1991-2001 was epic

And now, Walter needs to watch Pantera - Domination Live In Moscow 😋

Dimeberg Darrell. That killed me. 😂😂😂😂

Pantera really was the Pinnacle of metal imo with vulgar display of power.
This should be an enjoyable one, hope everyone has a great Saturday. 🤘🏼

They are all phenomenal albums. R.I.P. Abbott brothers. Pantera was like a supergroup. The talent was like a perfect metal storm.

Thank you for giving the analysis and respect this album deserves

I lived in Arlington Tx when Pantera had just released their second album and truly exploded worldwide. They shaped my understanding of what metal could be after Metallica set the foundation. Pantera members also lived in Arlington and Dalworthington Garden and I had the immense luck of knowing someone who knew someone  who was real friends with Dime and Vinnie. Twice I got to go to parties Vinnie threw at his house and meet everyone but Phil. Such cool guys and also just absolute animals with the drinking and partying. There is legit argument to be made that Dimebag was the greatest guitarist of his time, a true phenom that was just about unmatched in both his expressivenes and technicality.

For most of my life Vulgar Display of Power was the only Pantera album I cared about.  But after getting my fair share of life.. The Great Southern Trendkill to me is their defining work.  That album is so brutally honest, raw, dark, and vulnerable it's just going to persist in terms of its impact.  Love Cowboys, Love Driven, Steel isn't for me, but Trendkill is the one.

first exposure to pantera unknowingly was spongebob squarepants with sandy's hibernation music

Never thought of Cemetery Gates as a 'metal opera', but that is an apt description

Man, hell of a reaction video.  Heard this album for the first time when I was 9 and it still gets me hyped.  It’s fun watching someone else discover music that I love and appreciate it as much as I did.  Great video!

Every time I think of what happened to Dimebag my heart breaks with sadness and utter rage.

56:29 that pause indeed....
one of my favorite little moments in all of music, ever :D

Bruh, Dime Bag was goated.  Never attempted to learn his solos, just riffs😂 couldn't if I wanted to.  I can jam some wicked lamb of god licks but damn..there are levels. Respect, thanks for the reaction.

Great reaction, I grew up listening to this album, one of the very best!

Dime is truly one of a kind, his playing is so unique but fast and technical.

Such a legendary album. These guys were our hometown heroes.
