Welcome to Groove Metal.

"Is this grunge?" - Walk on home, boy.

This is an essential metal album. ESSENTIAL.

Their last album came out in 2000, pantera lost both the guitarist and drummer (Brothers), but broke up before then. Rip dimebag and Vinnie Paul.

Pantera is still active, but the TRUE Pantera died when Dimebag(guitar) was murdered in the early 2000's...

RIP Dimebag

Guitar God virtuoso

It really kills me to hear “it’s really old…it came out in’92” …. Nothing makes me feel older than knowing I was 19 when this came out !!  What a great time!! Thinking back on going to this concert, my back and neck starts getting nervous, that I might try a mosh pit again 😂😂

Start to finish, one of the best metal albums ever, no skips

Pantera is the heaviest band to ever have a Billboard #1. You'll never see live stage energy this string ever again.

RIP DIMEBAG & VINNIE 🕊️

PANTERA is eternally goated top tier metal bands

hollow is actually such a crazy foreshadow

This bands got you tearing up everything

They also had some Hair Metal albums before Cowboys From Hell, in the 80s.

Awesome album.. rip dimebag

This is groove metal

" You practice in your mirror
to be just like me, but you just can't see...
you ain't got the balls, son " that part always makes me laugh

16:06 That's that groove that's hooking you in. Pantera's style of metal is called Groove Metal.

Seeing people mark the fuck out to literally every Dimebag solo in 2026 makes me so fucking happy

Dime is immortal. RIP GOAT
