Today we're taking a look at James Tynion and his contributions to the Batfamily.

Tynion is a incredibly prolific author with so many iconic series under his belt. Image Comics' Deviant, Something is Killing the Children, Worldtr33, Exquisite Corpses, Department of Truth and so many more. He also has a huge output with DC, including Justice League, A Nice House on the Lake, Redhood and the Outlaws, etc, but Tynion's first contributions to DC Comics was Batman.

So, join me in this video as we take a look at Tynion's Batman work, including New 52 Batman (written by Scott Synder), Batman Eternal, Batman & Robin Eternal and Detective Comics: Rise and Fall of the Batmen.

In this video we'll discuss how these Batman stories helped bring back the Batfamily, re-inventing and re-introducing characters like Tim Drake's Robin, Cassandra Cain's Batgirl, Kate Kane's Batwoman, Stephaine Brown's Spoiler, Basil Karlo's Clayface, Jean Paul's Azrael, Harper Row's Bluebird, Dick Grayson's Nightwing and so many other characters.

We'll also analyze how Tynion's appreciation of 90's Batman comics, like Batman No Man's Land, Batman Knigthfall and 2000's stories like Batman Murderer Fugitive shaped the way he wrote Batman.

Hope y'all enjoy!
