when they're glazing your goat and they're completely right

Can't believe it ended 20 years ago

This is probably my favourite show of all time

the JLU opening theme is iconic and very recognizable

Bruce Timm's biggest strength is that he's a fantastic producer and team leader. He had a great eye for talent and he knew how to nurture talent. He is really good at hiring the best writers, artists, storyboard artists, animators, directors, etc. and getting everyone to work together to make the best shows.

And Bruce Timm always made sure to encourage and promote talent. Several of the DC animation's story editors, producers and show runners started off as character/storyboard artists or staff writers that got promoted up the ranks. And a lot of them went off to do their own projects afterwards.

That's the biggest lesson any franchise should learn from the DCAU. It's not just about making one good movie or one good show. It's about developing the talent so that they can consistently make great things.

The Question is another I really liked. He even became a constant reoccurring part of the league. And was even allowed a love interest in Huntress

To me, this will always be DC at its peak

This was the MCU of animated series, and it sucks the DCCU isn’t willing to put in the work to make it even a fraction of what the DCAU achieved. Even the new Animated Universe pales in comparison. I was there when it started with The Cat & The Claw, and I was there when it ended with Destroyer. Truly a magnum opus for animated superhero cartoons.

What a wonderful love letter to the best series in the history of time

The OG JLTAS and JLU are forever loves

This show was my childhood

Superman's characterization is supposed to developed from his experiences in STAS. He's a much older, more jaded hero than he was.

You have to remember that this is the Superman who was already willing to die just to kill Darkseid after all he's done to him.

“Oh FUCk Yeah!” - me seeing the thumbnail and which channel uploaded

Crafted from heart and passion, nothing ever came close to it.

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes reminds me so much of this show and I feel that if it was allowed to continue, it would've left a similar impact

This summary is so well done. In a world where so many faceless YouTube videos have become AI, your descriptions are so authentic and engaging. And the editing is great. And it’s all on a freaking amazing subject. Well done brother. Please keep up the good work!

My favorite part of this show was when Diana got cast a spell by Cerce and in order to save her Bruce sang "Am I Blue" in a lounge bar, full of posh guests,  in full Batsuit (a once in a lifetime event). If Batman is willing to lose his dignity and expose his vocal talents for ya, you better believe he holds you really dearly. Kinda like saying I love you without himself saying the word I love you to Diana. 😅

Bro watching this video flooded me with memories and made me tear up and cry…whatever the writers were on it was absolute godsend….we will never get shows like this again ..tv peaked in that era

10:30 SHE GAGGED EM 😂

I've seen each episode hundreds of times.  I love this series.  It's absolutely one of the best.
