Watching and I’m like “oh! I get it now!” Then I get on the ice and throw the worst shots ever. Great breakdown, practice time!

This video may serve as a breakthrough for many people. I've seen hundreds of tutorials on shooting, however this one is the most intuitive to me. For example, you mention how much force you should put at the start of the drag to your feet and progressively increase it. I haven't seen this level of detail on the drag itself before and the pressure level is something I've wondered while practicing on my own. Thanks for the quality content! :finger-red-number-one:

I find this some of the most helpful tutorials leaning how to become a better shooter. Information is fantastic! I would love to see a detailed breakdown of how to do a saucer pass.

Wish you would’ve shown him shooting in slow motion and different angles. Best break down I heard and seen on how to snap shot

This was an incredibly helpful video. I was working on this today at the rink and getting nowhere. Frankly, I was pretty discouraged. This video helped me see the things I’m doing wrong. I’m excited to get back on the ice and go at it again.

I have been struggling with this type of shot and I literally realized tonight my stick has been sitting in my grip wrong and I think that’s been the entire issue with understanding the whole mechanic smdh

Fantastic tutorial

This is really great, I'm going to drill every part of this this week. Can you cover the best shot to use in general with a backhand?

@OhYaSure 1 year ago

I love this coach, so many good videos.

My only critique on this and many others who explain this new technique, is the focus is too much on your body and not on why you’re trying to do with the stick — which is to create a bow. That isn’t stressed enough.

If you teach this concept first, the body mechanics usually come together for each individual.

Just as awesome and helpful as the other shooting tutorial you made a couple of months ago. Thnx Mate

I WAS terrible at snap shots, honestly this break down has helped me improve my shot. Thanks for the video

Great detail in explaining the mechanics.
Describing the reason for each movement makes it easy to visualize & understand the importance of proper technique. 👍
