44 year old beginner. Your videos definitely help. I may never play hockey. But atleast I won’t be sending kids to the hospital at family skates lol

Speed skaters go from outside to inside, thus creating a “double push”. You can do this on hockey skates, but not to the same extreme as the skates are shorter and more rockered

I have been trying to determine my son's issue with the toe slipping out at the end of his stride and this video details the exact problem and reasons. Thank you

"If you want to become more powerful, it's going to become heavier" has to be the most intelligence hockey statement ever made. Spot on.

This is so good
If you could also cover crossover the way pros do that’d be perfect

Great detail man. These types of videos explain it well and why it matters. Makes it click for me.

These videos from Johnathan are top class! Wish I had these when I started playing. Keep them coming. Amazing work.

Great vid as always. A video on how to develop open hips, how to Mohawk and how to use it in game (passing, puck protection and deception) would be awesome!

this outside edge staff was so eye opening, never thought of it that way, even when doing intuitively

I agree with so many of the previous comments! Wonderful breakdown!!! Keep up the great work!!!

I really like this style of video, please keep doing them. It would be interesting to take this and show NHC helping out a novice skater and then tracking that skater's progression. The reason I think this would be interesting is because it would be good to see how these techniques are applied to a skater learning so I can try and apply them to my skating and then track my progress along with the skater in your videos for a specific skill (say opening hips and mohawks as mentioned below).

Great video! Can you guys go into how to properly go from forwards > hockeystop/backwards transition > forwards back the way you came? Like a fast, efficient and powerful turnaround

This is really helpful. Great job, guys.

Very good tutorial!
Articulate, with a clear step by step breakdown of how to do it,
why is effective and what not to do.
Thank you

As I was watching the tips and especially the part about hips activation, I was thinking about Lane Hutson's legs position and then you mention him! In my mind I associate this stance to how a cowboy stands. Cheers from Montreal!
