Wow one day of looking and find allmost 5 grand in gold. Thats a dream

1946  Coin ?         Here is a weird one-  I  was metal detecting back in the early 1970's  in Texas  and found an India 1943 George VI  Bombay minted 1 Rupee,  early Walking Liberty Silver Dollar and a few others in a little pouch.   How and the circumstances has to this day have baffled me  to how it got lost in no where Texas......  Shocker!

I had to google jagass now if I had thought  about it I would come to the correct explanation, the thing is if he is are you doing a broke back mountain thing lol.

Funny story, after my dead left the military at 60 years of age he joined a goldsmithing and jewellery making company of one of his friends. His friends, terrible rich guy, bought a lot of goldsmith shops in Eastern Germany. He never set foot in one those and he didn't even know what he bought. He sold the machines and forgot about the rest. My dad asked him if you should check if anything else is stored there.
So my dad checked every single of those buildings, warehouses and in one he found 8 gold sheets used for further processing into 750 fine yellow gold wire or directly for jewellry. So this may have been the rest of the stuff that had not disappeared over the years. Someone left a fortune lying out in an old damaged building.

those  electric horses  really take you to some good secret  spots, and without them  it would be difficult /very unlikely
