I’ve put this off for long enough, but it’s finally time to tackle the dreaded water tower demolition. With the new stone wall section nearly up to the top , getting rid of the rest of this stubborn structure is the next big step on the list. I started weeks ago and it was hard going, very hard going. Will this time be any different?
In this video, I take on the heavy lifting of breaking down the old concrete blocks which made up the water tower, dealing with the stubborn cement, and handling the tricky plumbing to relocate the water heaters without disrupting our hot water setup. Plus, a quick look at how the main stone wall restoration is shaping up as Dawn pushes closer toward getting the top section of her new wall finished.
