This is the first video essay I've ever made, It's been my passion project since this games release. Let's just say I have some strong opinions... This game get's more WAY appreciation than it's worth. The BEST parts of this game have been striped away by Nintendo. There's hardly anything leftover. Thank you so much for watching! I dont understand how they aren't giving out skins, kart variants, new karts, new characters, and character skins as rewards. Nobody wants a useless sticker.

The fact that so many people bought a switch 2 WHILE complaining about the prices of games disappointed me so much

@orlof507 1 year ago

Don't worry man, Nintendo will launch one dlc with 30 old tracks for 50 dollars and you all will buy it too.

“I’m going to complain about Mario Kart World for an hour… but here’s a giveaway for a Switch 2 with Mario Kart World!” is a little bit funny to do

As someone who didn't spend 600$, I completely agree.

One of Nintendo's biggest ongoing problems: if you aren't having fun according to the way that they want you to have fun, they will install more guardrails to make sure that your ability to have fun complies with their vision.

My 7 year old has gone back to Mario Kart 8, says it all really.

It's so weird that Nintendo made the best feeling Mario kart game while trying to force everyone to drive straight and not use any of the new mechanics. Make that make sense

For an $80 dollar game that took 8 years to make, they made some BAFFLINGLY horrible design decisions.

"stop defending mario kart." also "hey im giving out mario kart."

This is a rare case where not only do I hate the game, but I hate what it represents. Remember, most video game studios (nintendo included) see their customers as floating wallets, and this performing as well as it did means nintendo can just keep getting away with this.

"I will be giving away a switch 2"must have been a really terrible experience

@21st_Century_Loser 1 year ago

1:28 bro didn't like the game so much he's giving away his switch 2

Giving someone the game then telling them to uninstall is crazy

Ironically the Mega Mushroom and Feather aren’t new, they’re returning from older Mario Kart games

You wanna know the ABSOLUTE worst part about paying for online with Nintendo? They don't even use dedicated servers for their games. They use a P2P (Peer to Peer) connection instead. Which is literally the cheapest and laziest form of online as all it does is connect the players together directly.
It's rough because it basically means whatever player is hosting will almost definitely have at least a slight edge.
So when you hear people say paying for online is so Nintendo can cover game server costs, it's not, they are wrong.

The worst thing imo is that they were so close to a fantastic game, it's just so riddled with minor problems that come together to make the game unfun
