You gotta stop cutting the guy off every time he’s in the middle of saying something bro. He’ll be about to say something interesting and get into more detail and you’ll hold up some random toy, like just stand and listen to what he’s saying lol

Being fair with your customers is key to a successful business, and this man sounds like he is fair.

“Nobody needs what I have” crazy way to put it

My man is smart. He really had great reasons for everything he did.

With how it's all grown, it's crazy that I used to go to Ryan's house back when he just had a website, and his basement was his warehouse.  He has a PROFOUND autograph collection - and we share a fascination with WWII.  Man, I was such a nuisance to him and his family with taking such a ridiculous amount of time with picking out which items I'm gonna get...and he was over-the-top gracious with me being a burden while his family is upstairs ready to eat dinner.

I only live 30 minutes away, but have only been to his current store once, because I had a bad car accident years ago (had a mild stroke), and didn't have collision insurance.  If I still had a car, you bet your sweet ass I'd be milling around his store, basking in its glory on a weekly.  It's like a toy museum...but everything is for sale.  Ryan is genuinely a really good guy.

I've seen several Toy Federation business walk through videos and this was the best one yet.  Good questions.  Ryan seemed very comfortable with you and really opened up.  Great video!!

There are things he never finished saying because you interrupted

I distanced myself from collecting because I saw it becoming this kind of a problem; a hoarding habit that you'd eventually have to turn into a store. Something I had to tell myself and to all collector's out there; it's not worth anything if you never sell it and this market is very volatile. I feel it only works for this guy because he can trade the "fancy lifestyle" for his true wants <--- this is the key to success in anything I feel; sacrifice and commitment.

This was an amazing video to be a part of shooting. Except for the many times I almost broke my neck tripping over something in the backroom while trying to hold the camera and marvel at everything 😅

I love to hear these types of stories of what it really takes to run a business.

One word ……. WOW, I’m 47 years old I would volunteer at your store Ryan I have more than 500 Transformers Vintage and Modern, Blessings on what you have accomplished and what you will accomplish 🙏🏽

I don't give a shit whatsoever about toys and I absolutely loved watching this. Fascinating inside look into a fascinating business. Thanks Caleb and Toy Federation guy.

Ryan's passion, despite the hardship and doubters (especially from family), he is motivated to live what he loves. I hope to one day travel to Toy Federation, meet him, buy something from the backroom. That back room is crazy, but he has a vision that he sees to be great; inventory is a great problem to have as a seller, it's the avenues to take to sell them is difficult with limited time and money. Great interview

One of the big things I really appreciate about this man is the fact that he is honest and fair with his customers. There's so many people here on YouTube (and everywhere else for that matter) that take advantage of people and give them pennies on the dollar for their old toys, video games, comics, etc.... then brag about how they got a "deal of a lifetime". The world needs more honest people. 👍

Probably the best walkthrough/ interview of toy federation on the web period! Great job man!

This guy literally has NO IDEA WHATS HAPPENING from the moment he started this to now and passion has just carried him this far, love it.

Love what you do here. As I have gotten older I have slipped away from video games and toys to become a workaholic and family man. This has definitely brought me back to a healthy medium and I’ve started collecting again. Thank you.

My daughter and I have a tough time try and find Legos cheap. And this guy is so right the toy community will find you.

11:43 you know this is a well organized and clean place when the toilet in the background looks spotless. Everyone has been to a toy store that has that horrid bathroom….if they have one obviously.
