There are some places that instantly make you feel like a kid again.
The Vintage Toy Monster in Portsmouth is packed from floor to ceiling with the toys many of us grew up with — from familiar childhood favourites to strange things you may have completely forgotten existed.
Ian gave me the run of the shop as we opened cabinets, uncovered some wonderfully unusual toys and talked about the memories attached to them.
This isn’t really about finding the rarest or most valuable item. It’s about that feeling of walking into the kind of toy shop we all wished existed when we were younger.
