Dude with the box was struggling when bro was giving his speech 😂😂

Bringing an entire collection in for trade on grand opening is wild. I would’ve waited until at least the next day lol

As someone who's worked years standing on concrete floors, I think you should seriously consider investing in some rubber mats behind the checkout/trade-in counters (unless I missed seeing them). Your employees will thank you.

Legend has it that box still being held..

OMG I love the idea of playing games for gift cards while waiting outside. Obviously you can’t fit everyone and something as simple as shooting a ball for 5$; the cheering, the prizes, the positivity - it was an amazing addition to the line queue

The dude runs a business. He buys low and sells high just like 99% of businesses worldwide. Nothing but respect

Dude was rethinking his whole day when Caleb came out to give a speech and he was holding his whole collection to sell

dudes in the line: Just STFU and open the door

You have awesome and incredibly dedicated employees, give them a nice Christmas bonus!

opening day and someone brings in like the entire saturn collection. this video deffo gets across how chaotic and stressful it is. fair play! 😂

him calling oatmeal cream pies cookies was killing me lol

Dudes eyes when you said 175. He's been so used to getting ripped off by gaming stores he couldn't believe you were actually giving him money. Sadly about 12 years ago I got into financial trouble and had to sell 25 years of collecting and gaming. It was my whole childhood and got pennies for it way before the gaming boom. I regret it so so much it honestly makes me sick thinking about it.

I just watched the entire thing, 43 mins, and it went by so fast! In a world where 8 second videos are too long this was very well edited! Great success story! God bless

43:05 “not bad for $500 bucks” such a great outro, congrats to you and your whole team. Wishing yall even more success 😃

Fellow store owner to store owner, you're gonna want another 2 registers and print those labels after the trade. Keep the labels with the trade in the back. It'll save you hours each week.

Hi! I’m the girl in pink at 25:40! We bought so much stuff from you like the Atari Lynx and Rhythm Thief for the 3DS and so much more that I can’t even remember! Lol! It was just by coincidence that we were there that day because my class reunion was that day so I was visiting home from Pittsburgh! Thanks for the amazing experience and congrats on the opening! Can’t wait to visit again! 💜

To help with flow, you might want to incentivise people doing trade ins, the things that seem to take the longest, to a Monday or Tuesday or something. Maybe call it Poke-Monday and Trade-In Tuesday. Maybe figure out a way to give a higher in store credit or cash value if they come in on the slower days. Idk. Never ran a game store but just know some days are naturally slower in retail and having all those timely trades on the weekends will be a killer!  Best of luck and following along from Cincinnati!

I've worked at clothing stores before that buy from customers (Crossroads, Buffalo Exchange, Plato's Closet) and to help keep lines down we take reservations and/or drop offs. People drop their stuff off and come pick up whatever money we can offer the next day. Life changing when it comes to keeping line down like that. Something to look into! Get plastic bins like you have in the Amazon side, put a customers name on it, get to it when you can.

Hey man, newish to the channel.

I’m a manager at a retail store, and I just have to say congratulations and that I’m extremely proud of you and your team!!

Wish I could find the time to fly over and meet y’all in person. Until then keep up the great work.
