Over $1,000,000 worth of comics just sitting in trash bags. Absolutely insane.

Think she was floored with $200k estimate and not sold for over $600k. Insane. Good for her

I love the fact that he's clearly not giving her overly optimistic estimates, but simply the best estimates he feels confident about giving.
The fact that he undervalued the big hits only made the video a better watch!

$40-80k would be incredible to hear, but for it to go for $329,400!?! What an incredible story and life changing money...

Grams threw out my uncle’s priceless baseball card collection when he was in Germany during the Vietnam War.

Is there a video of her during the auction? I would love to see her reaction to the insane prices that these comics received. 😊

As a huge batman fan when I saw that first appearance of Bruce Wayne my jaw dropped .

I actually gasped when he revealed the Detective Comics #27. What a treasure. And such a sweet lady. Her dad taking care of her one last time.

Paying homage to dear ol' Dad, would be to photograph the cover of each, then make a bespoke wallpaper for an entire room - dedicated to him (especially since the house is gonna get all the money).

My husbands mother got rid of his comic collection when he went away to college. She didn’t approve of comics. Among them were first edition comics, among them the first Black Panther. He’s in his 70’s and it still gets him to this day.
