Thats the difference between "a drummer" and Chad. He got the technique, experience and is able to active listening plus transfer it within a splitt second into his drumming. He is one of the GOATS for a reason.

Where you said 'he's adjusting, he's figuring it out'  - Total goosebumps, his brain is like a computer

One thing a lot of people miss out is....Chad started playing drums when he was 7, which means he's been playing drums for 50 years. Yes, 50 years. There's a lot of experience in that man most people don't see.

Chad is not just a drummer. He is a MUSICIAN

This just shows how he plays with pure vibe and instinct.

Chad smith is undoubtedly a legend👑. drummer and musician in masterclass 🔥

This never gets old.

The really bananas part is that Chad could have done multiple takes, taken notes if he wants, etc. , but he just listens for a few seconds and jumps in sticks blazing. One and done... damn near perfectly. A consummate professional.

I've always been a Red Hot Chili Peppers fan but this video showed people like myself how much of a drumming genius that Chad Smith is

The musicality of a good drummer is so underrated. A lot of people can keep a beat. Drums can “sing” just as well as every other instrument.

Chad Smith gets me emotional when he plays because he's that brilliant. I feel his soul through his playing just like when I hear somebody sing beautiful through their soul, I feel it. I'm a singer myself so I can just feel when somebody is passionate

I used to think we had missed out because we didn't get to see Michaelangelo paint, but this is that

The Bring Me The Horizon video was AFTER this video ... Chad approached both songs the same way. One pass and done.
Picture this, you walk up to a cliff with water at the bottom. You: "I wonder if it's deep enough ?" By the time you say "enough", Chad's over the edge.

So Towes amazing presenter n drummer serious learn so much can’t praise enough.  They got El to do a segment with Drumeo. Great song n guys letos.

Chad is a whole different type of animal, ✌️🤘

30 seconds to Mars reacted to it on TikTok and were impressed. The drummer and lead singer are brothers

He just drops in 😂

Of you dig this check out drumeo having 66Samus doing one of the hardest Zepplin songs. He only recorded some vocal cues and nailed it on the first attempt.

Hey AR great listen from Drumeo n Chad
