Biggest phrase we use 'Glad i could help' 🇬🇧

I'm British and I would've done the same. He's not a hero cos he's a British copper, he's just a hero

The epitome of the British spirit, Keep Calm and Carry On indeed. Well Done Sergeant 🫡🫡🫡

UK police are very experienced at physically overcoming criminals as they aren't armed

I'm so glad both officers came out of this unscathed, nice .

A veteren officer just means he has served for many years and the fact that he is a sergeant shows he has considerable experience

I live in
France. There was a terrorist type guy who brought out a rifle on a TGV train . A British guy jumped in and stopped him. He saved a number of lives.

Brits are not surprised, civilians here have fought armed terrorists hand to hand more than once and our police deal with criminals without guns, this isnt surprising at all.

Most Brits will run toward danger rather than away from it, you only have to look at the terror attack on the underground to see what I mean. Instead of passers by running away they ran into the underground to save people, my son was one of them and I’m proud of him.

Policeman here in the UK. I assisted a Spanish cop who was being beaten up by three thugs. Once I explained who I was, I had a tour of their police station and an all-expenses meal out with a Spanish regional minister as a thank you. I didn't want it, I saw a fellow cop in trouble, so I helped him.

What you call an Interstate, we call a Motorway here in the UK. You are not allowed to walk, cycle or use any slow moving vechile such as a motor buggy for the disabled on the UK’s motorways.

I’m Brazilian living in UK and I have profound respect for the British people. I see them, generally, as duty full and brave.

As a former officer in the same force, you're never truly "Off duty"... even overseas.

Show me the exceptional skill of the British Police because they don’t carry weapons (unless a special unit) and they are able to de-escalate and detain offenders without holding a firearm to them. Well done to this Brit for jumping into a situation where he was in danger to help another with his skills 👏

Normal actions for a UK police officer, we are very proud of our police service.

That's our coppers run to not run away well done PC Johanson proud of you ❤😊

Most Brits would jump in to help, there was a recent terrorist threatening people with a machete and  Darryn Frost grabbed a Narwhal tusk and with two other Civil Servants challenged and contained the terrorist. The terrorist had already stabbed and killed two people and wounded three others, he was wearing a tag for previous terroristic activities and had an early release with the tag. This was on London Bridge in 2019

He isnt amazing, he is British.

In the uk, an off-duty police officer has a duty to help if they witness an accident or incident where someone could be hurt or in danger. In some ways, they are never really off duty. I guess it was just engrained in him to stop and help.

You don't mess with the British. We will fight for eachother and others

I believe that even if the British officer wasn't a policeman, and just an ordinary Brit, they still would have helped. We love a good scrap.
