God I love the personality they have managed to give Caraxes in so few short shots

Tessarion like "... you gonna eat that?"

I LOVED Daemon and Rhaena trying to calm their dragons like dogs at the park

Caraxes screaming fuck you to sheepsteeler as he fly away is my favorite thing in the episode

Ulf takes his complaint to the prime minister, gets banned from the pub, it's a bloody outrage, is what it is!

Allan invented cats? That's pretty neat, I love him now.

Poor Ulf just wants to drink with the boys

‘Waving his Hightower in their faces’ genuinely made me LOL

Alice the witch trapped Aemond in a k-hole until the final episode

Did anyone else notice that Sunfyre wasn’t rotting but Meleys was rotted SO BAD?? The difference was staggering.

I feel like Cristen and Gwayne being knights of the round table at Harrenhal was a clever inversion of Arthurian legend, like dark Lancelot and Gawain

Daemon smacking caraxes with his riding gloves like a misbehaved dog was a hilarious choice and I really need to know if that was a Matt Smith choice.

Scenes with Ormund remind me of book Roose Bolton. He was also known for his soft and calm manner of speaking and taking bath publicly as a power move

the day Caraxes dies, the entire world will be in mourning, what an absolute cutie long boi

Also it was cool seeing the moon door again

I did wonder why they showed Meleys' rotting dragon corpse, and after watching this episode I think it's a deliberate juxtaposition against Sunfyre, to demonstrate that Sunfyre is still alive. Meleys' corpse showed what a dead dragon truly looks like.

Ormund: "The Targaryens are evil people, and beneath me. NOT YOU Daeron; you're one of the GOOD ones!!"

I don’t think I’d want to be leading a Campaign where my most powerful weapon actively wants to eat me. I liked the way Daeron was saying, “leave, get out now” was really well done. Knew this dudes character from that one sentence.
