it's mind boggling to me that the best thing to come out of disney star wars was a prequel about a side character from a spin off film. so complex, so layered, the monologues, the acting. Andor is disney's broken clock, they had to do something successful by mistake, eventually.  you'd think space wizards, laser swords and pew-pew would be hard to mess up, but somehow disney done did it

Doing the wrong things for the right reason, for a lot of people in history, they are not left with any easy options. I suppose Luthen is an example of that.

I imagine Luthen doing something like Saw Guerrera

I see your point. I certainly inferred a lot from  Kleya showing her abilities as a spy, which I do think is reasonable. I liked the idea of her being behind the shadows and possibly doing even more we never see.

Sometimes the algorithm works as intended

While I understand that saving Kleya's twistabout her level of involvement for the hospital scene would've been exciting, I don't know that it would've come off that she was a core partner in the same way.  I think she would've just seemed like she was a pawn, minding the shop and given this one directive to clean up loose ends.  Not like she was an integral part of the operation.  Of course their backstory would enlighten some of that, but her level of involvement in the day-to-day would still pretty ambiguous.

Phenomenal!

Star Wars at its peak

I dont think luthen was ever planning to get past a certain point, he knew that the tight circle of lying and conspiring would break at some point so he embraced the ways of the enemy. And relieved himself by thinking of his death, becouse he wouldnt went on to live with his past deeds after the relebellion. He said imma do some indespicable shit and die with them. What remains of me will be the benefits for the rebellion. If i dont do it no one can, so i must carry this burden so the rebellion can keep its hands clean.

Luthen REAL

coz he was the realest out there :(

What if you lived in your mom's basement? What if we took a different opposite version of you and had them live in your mom's basement? What if I looked at your mom's basement? Should I come and look at it no I'm kidding I do come and look at your mom's basement every night

no. he will always be on the right side. his goal was to save the world. the rebels would have won faster if he was alive
