"Mom I love you because of what you can provide for me, my father, and God. Thank you."
I love my mom because she's her own human person, and I'd never measure her against the services she provides for men. Mom's are their own people.

“Please don’t forget what this country was built on” (they didn’t learn about violent colonialism)

3:38 'Cam Payne' is a drag name if ive ever heard one

i must be so weird to conservative country people. i have blue hair, i’m non-binary and use they/them pronouns and i’m about to get my septum pierced. i also work on a farm that provides jobs to mentally and physically disabled people.

edit: forgot to add, i’m autistic and also recently became a vegetarian 😭😭

The complaining about people not wanting to date you because you're a Christian is so rich to me because so many of these people would PROUDLY say that they will not date someone who is not a Christian. Why do you even care if someone doesn't want to be with you because of your beliefs when you also don't want to be with them? Or are you just upset that they're not open to being converted to your religion?

21:30 "belt worship" sounds like a kink lmao

9:25 i HAAAAAAAATE the christian fake half-crying voice with a passion. you can't convince me you're moved to tears! you just sound like you're moving your bowels 😭

10:12 "you deserve the world, but the best I can do now is some new pans" is such a funny line. buy the woman some damn flowers and chocolate and take her out to a nice dinner, don't buy her kitchenware

"Oh, I'm so persecuted that I refuse to date people of another religion."

They act upset because people won't date them because they're Christian, when we know damn well they would not want to date someone that's not.

"I don't have a girlfriend cause I'm waiting for marriage" is the best way to cover your homosexuality and totally not transparent
Although it didn't work very well for my last boyfriend

As a christian, I was told over and over again that I would be mocked and persecuted for my faith, yet it literally never happened. However, after I deconverted and my (former) friend who is still christian found out, they told me I was deeply mentally ill for not believing in their god. Also, none of the christians who "loved" me when I agreed with them speak to me anymore. Funny how that worked out.

02:10 his hat doesn’t even fit. Sincerely, a Texan.

On Mormon Stories, two professors found that more Americans started identifying as non-religious starting in 1990. They theorized it was because the Cold War ended then, so if you told someone you were atheist, you would no longer be asked if you were a godless communist. That does check out with your facts about 1950s piety added to the Pledge of Allegiance.

Bro... if my son brought me a cooking set wrapped like shit as a present, Id assume he fucking hates me and just sees me as the maid who cooked and cleaned for him instead of a mother who supported and loved him

That guy making the tiktok wrapping the present for his mom. Are we supposed to be touched at him not bothering to wrap the present correctly?

As someone who loves to cook, it’s ok to gift cooking supplies, if they ask for it! I have a list of more expensive things I want for the kitchen, because they make such a difference when cooking, but I can’t afford them in the moment. When I finally got my nice food processor I was so excited and I love it. I made cheesecake bars, and I mainly used the food processor the whole time. But again, make sure they actually want it. I also have gifted my mom nice cookware, but it is on her wishlist. I actually got my love of cooking from her.

Unless it’s something they for sure want, I would say stay away from cooking and cleaning supplies for gifts though.

11:07 That’s what irked me. The voiceover would’ve been so sweet if it was like photos of his mom raising him. But saying, “look at me, I bought my mom a cooking set and couldn’t even wrap it but I’m driving to her so give me my flowers.” Gross and weird.

14:23 one edgelord atheist called this girl crazy in 8th grade and she's still writing songs about it...

As an european im horrified at the though of the pledge of allegiance. Its very similar in my mind to how children in schools were forced to sing an anthem during the dictatorship in spain
