Across Britain, over a million people are living under mountains of clutter, hidden behind closed doors. Psychotherapist Stellios Kiosis meets two men whose extreme compulsions are destroying their lives and families: 66-year-old Alex, whose 15-year hoarding compulsion has filled his home, garage, and barn with over 30,000 newspapers and tons of trash, and 40-year-old Lawrence, whose 30,000-piece bird ornament collection has made his house unlivable. With the help of professional declutterers and intensive therapy, can these men confront their pasts, reclaim their homes, and save their relationships before it’s too late?
Only Human celebrates and explores the unique and personal qualities we all have. Our channel offers a range of TV series and documentaries about human experiences and life journeys - while looking at the challenges life throws at us, turning ordinary people into everyday heroes.
