It's wonderful to see you enjoy this satire so well --and i love what you said "The answer is the same in every world. Listen to your wife and daughters". Yes! 😊

The Simpsons are a great intro to American culture over the last 40 years. Movie recommendation: Far and Away (1992). It is a great drama/adventure film and your parents will love it. Cheers!

Thank you for your sincere reaction! It's had to think of anything more "American" to me than The Simpsons... For over 30 years this cartoon family grew up WITH America and made us laugh at ourselves, it's so nice to see it shared and the combination of silliness and family values resonate with others. :)

I must've watched this 50 or 60 times! When I was a kid, my dad would take my brothers and I skiing. I didn't like participating but was too young to stay home, so I would hang out in the ski lodge all day with my portable dvd player. The Simpsons Movie was one of the 5 or 6 dvds I had.

we already have an american version of crayon shin-chan. its great. i think most countries have their own versions of that show its just all cut up into different things. takes some effort to watch these reactions, but they are interesting.

If they like the simpsons they might like something a little higher age bracket like Futurama.
