After this video you have to watch the “creature comforts” adverts for British Gas. They are brilliant.

Everyone called Allan in the UK hates that sketch. Not an Allan but speaking on their behalf

I believe the dancing bird was a male Manakin bird. A longer clip can be found on the QI TV show, probably under "who did the Moonwalk first?" There is very old black & white footage of a Mr William Bailey doing it too.

Deff checkout Creature Comforts. They have their own YT channel now and are made by the same studio as Wallace & Grommit and Shaun the Sheep. They started out as sponsorship commercials i believe and then became their own series due to the success of the commercials

That's why we pay for a TV licence.

It's not Alan, it's Steve.
This was an in joke about when Steve Coogan was rehearsing to play Alan Partridge and he kept going 'round the studio saying "Alan, Alan, Alan" to himself to drum it into his subconscious.

Have a look at Dick & Dom in Da Bungalow. Particularly the game 'Bogies'. It was a kids Saturday morning TV show. Bogies was / is hilarious. Obviously nothing to do with animals, but it's s British and funny.
