"A good hunting partner is more than just a companion. He is a moral compass as well, and my brother never wavered."

Love that

Such an ethical hunter. What a great example he is.

This is the only hunting show I look forward to watching. I couldn't care less if the hosts actually kill anything, it's always entertaining. Steve and the crew set a great example for current and future generations of hunters.

Even when you're in your 40s, the older brother still walks first in deep snow.

Everyone talks about how hard it must have been for him ti get through that terrain, but no one talks about how the cameraman had to do it whilst pointing a camera at him at all times

This! Oh my gosh this is what I’m talking about! I have been on three mountain goat hunt in my life also and I just successfully filled my tag on Saturday with a nice big Billy on the Chugach Alaska mountain range also! I had sleepless nights anticipating my next days adventures with plenty of cramps, sore muscles, bruises and blood blisters. Just on Saturday October 10th I was finally successful with a Billy that was so easy to get to after all my grueling trips up and down mountains cliffs trudging through devil clubs and alders!!! It was amazing and I can’t wait to do it again! Oh... I am 60 year old woman who takes after my Grandmother who was a Mountain Goat Hunter also!

Leaving those goats alive is the most GOAT act in this entire show

I have been hunting goats for a few years now, I haven’t taken a billy yet but have passed on many nannies. I refuse to take a nanny

I think it's cool that the video shows that hunting is not only shooting. Sometimes it is walking for hours, waiting for hours, just to then get nothing. There is so much more behind it than just pulling a trigger.

I have crazy amount of respect for you and your brother’s integrity both as hunters and good citizens

@Crown34444 5 years ago

This show is about watching other people struggle from the compfort of your own home!

@ronaldpetersen255 5 years ago

Thank you for passing on the nannies!!

Nannie harvests also have a negative factor in how many tags ADF&G will allocate for the draw which equates to more hunter opportunity.

Great show!!

As much as I love the struggle as the next hunter- this hunt just seems like torture. One thing to go through this rough terrain but then on top of that having to go through the rough terrain just to get close enough to see that it's one that you can't/won't shoot. As much as I consider myself to be a "real hunter", Steve is at a level that I will never achieve.
