Welcome to VERDY Channel! 💜
Today I'm reacting to Forrest Gump (1994) for the very first time!

I've heard people call this one of the greatest movies ever made, but nothing could have prepared me for this emotional journey. From unforgettable moments to heartbreaking scenes, I completely understand why this film has become such a timeless classic.

Tom Hanks delivers an incredible performance, and I found myself laughing, smiling, and getting emotional throughout the entire movie. This was such a beautiful experience, and I'm so glad I finally watched it!

"Sometimes there just aren't enough rocks", is a line that always stuck with me. It perfectly expresses how we at least symbolically react to the unhappy parts of our lives.

While Forest is perceived as ‘stupid’ , I think his way in the world is better than most.

According to the script, Lt. Dan invested $100,000 in Apple—representing 3% of the company at the time—which would be worth approximately $134 billion today.

The older you get the more this movie is a gut punch after gut punch.

This movie is a beautiful piece of historical art.

When you realise that Forest never lost a game of ping pong because he was told to never ever take his eyes off the ball... Until he met his son, and lost because he couldn't take his eyes off him!

What makes your reactions stand out is the genuine calm and sincerity. No exaggerated reactions, no faces for the camera, no showing off. Tears have tissues, laughter has composure, comments are few but spot-on. It feels wonderfully real. Thank you for your dedication 😊

This movie is one of the reasons your music reactions have been so important! Now you know how much of an impact some of the classics you’ve been reacting to have on popular culture.

Hello :) Good reactions!

At first, you would think that Jenny died of Aids but the producers came out and said she actually dies of Hepatitis. Also, when you think about it, Forrest actually lived the life of the 3 people who treated him with respect (other that his mother of course). He became famous like Jenny wanted (ping pong, tv and White House appearances, cover of newspapers and magazines), a war hero like Lt Dan wanted and a shrimping boat captain like Bubba wanted. Finally the feather did represent the moral of this movie's story. Flying accidently in the breeze only to be destined to land at Forrest's feet and once it was done, floating away again to represent how to live life. While there is a certain destiny for all of us, most times, things may happen accidently.

Great reaction Lady V. You are the only reactor that I have watched that understood the birds Forest saw when walking away from Jenny's grave. It was cool how you would sing along with the great music they had in this movie.

I love how you said you didn't know much about American history when you recognized Watergate....

......then instantly recognized Free Bird!!

That was a great save! :D
