I could watch Brennan Lee Mulligan rant passionately about literally nothing for years.

"WHEAT NAZI!"
me: oooh a bit excessive
"2 HOURS!"
me: oh, understandable then

The FIRST. EPISODE. Brennan took a BIG swing and told EVERYONE who he was.

Brennan’s “Yes or No” crashout is one of the most iconic things I have ever seen

Alicia and Brennan are more alike than they think. In a recent episode of Game Changer, Brennan gave up his turn in one of the rounds because he drew a short straw, had to go first, and gave the same explanation that you can't win a bit game if you go first.

He also wants more than anything to be a father, and we all know what Alicia wants more than anything. Alicia and Brennan are practically mood kindred.

Edit: Correction, Brennan has two daughters now, congrats!

13:10 brennan actually recently did a bit about how going first is a death knell of comedy because whoever goes next can always just run with your bit and it'll be inherently funnier. Alicia really is just brennan

That "Five points" line tells you everything you need to know about Brennan.  He has not changed in the seven years since that aired.

For context and a fun fact, Brennan's mom is a comic book writer. He even took one of her stories and ran a DnD campaign of it on Dropout's Dimension 20

Brennan hating losing is one thing, but the man is also probably a bona fide genius and a storyteller with the ability to monologue at the drop of a hat. Monologuing is something he actively holds himself back from doing at any given moment. And that makes him absolutely terrifying.

The worst part about Brennan missing the Siamese fire back...it literally is a type of pheasant 😂😂

"I would do anything." "For what?" "TO WIN ANYTHING."

The "He lives and dies by the point system and you told him to make you upset? That's on you..." bit is cinematic. Like Morgan Freeman delivering "You think your client, one of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the world, is secretly a vigilante who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands. And your plan is to blackmail this person? Good luck!" levels of cinematic.

34:00 Oh wow, she really does have Brennan's energy

the best thing about brennan is that he will drop into these overdramatic monologues at the drop of a hat, and he admits he has to actually hold back from always talking like that

The lesson: when you have the advantage over Alicia in a board game, punish her every time and know it's generational warfare 😂

She needs to watch the "Hello im 50" meme... 😂

It doesn't matter how many times I've seen the yes/no monologue, it cracks me up every time

"I'm ready for this Icon to crashout" Oh, you're gonna eat good in this video

Sam Reich would take the same glee in ripping Alicia a new one as he does Brennan
It's like fighting a dragon, finding the weak point to slay it, and then finding another dragon with the same weakness

There's an episode of Adventuring Academy where Sam and Brennan describe their onscreen personae as equivalent to Bugs and Daffy, and Yes or No is the episode that really nailed that down - Sam setting Brennan up for the fall is funny, but it's even funnier when Brennan leans in and commits to being the one who is always gonna shout "DUCK SEASON! FIRE!"
