if you think about it ventriloquist are like the original vtubers

“And that’s where the story SHOULD end”

One of the biggest foreshadowing statements to ever grace this earth

context for the "f you hemmingway", earlier in the show he went on a tangent about the life of Hemmingway, including saying something Hemmingway apparently said, "the first draft of anything is shit"

The puppeteering of Randy is so good that I genuinely forget Randy is a puppet sometimes.

“Badly tied knots and broken dreams” is a divorce joke if you missed it

The thing I love the most about Randy is that the longer his comedy specials go one, the sooner you forget he's a freakin puppet

Here's actually the best part of this story: it ISN'T made up.

Randy late last year confirmed he merely said that so Morgan wouldn't get in trouble, but Morgan had recently found a way to contact Randy and said it was cool and he didn't mind at all.

“Your vanity is sucking up my bandwidth” will live on forever in my head.

I like to believe that it was actually Randy the Puppet who met Morgan and you get the entirety of a Muppet physical comedy sketch of a bookshelf running over a pint sized puppet and then him having to deal with Morgan's emotional trauma.

This was a section of a much longer monologue where he authored a book and was going to read it. Every time he was about to read, he instead went on a tangent, this was one of those. In a previous section, he quote Earnest Hemingway that 'all first drafts are s^&%'

Context::: The entire show is Randy attempting to read a passage from his first written novel to the audience but he keeps distracting himself 😂

17:45 "You hate to see it" - No no, you hate to hear about it. Your soul fucking shatters if you get to see it as well.

1:30 no no no, that's your TRIBE not your close circle of relationships, that includes everyone you know, interact, talk and think about on a semi regular basis: your neighbors, friends, coworkers, aquaintaces, family even parasocial relationships such as celebrities you're at least mildly interested in, so it's a lot more than just 20 or 30

Farmville and Mafia ruled my life when facebook first came along.

25:52 nah he definitely did the right thing staying this made it even more hilarious.

6:34, looks like Randy is staring right at her! XD

As someone who has seen Randy perform 3 times live in-person and has tickets for a 4th show already. I enjoy watching people discover him through his many clips online. His act is fantastic and every year his routines are somehow funnier than the previous. The First Banana show was fantastic from start to finish.

the amount of emotion randy is able to express without a single facial muscle is truly impressive

🎵ITS BEEN SO LONG🎵

There have been rumors since that Randy originally said the story wasnt true because he didnt want to implicate morgan in acts of vandalism. (because.. yknow.. that would be evidence.. circumstantial sure but.. it would probably be enough for him to be asked to testify)
and that Morgan has since contacted randy and said its cool, so he has since admitted it was real.

theres also been rumors that morgan was in the audience that night which is why randy didnt wanna out him.

But. best of all.. it was NOT his first draft of that story. theres a video of him performing the same story earlier. with some alterations.. and while it was still good. this draft really nailed the comedic timing of it. really spun the story and engrossed the viewer the way the first did not quite manage.

ofcourse the fact that the story had changed. and where it changed. does much more strongly indicate that there really is no morgan.

That said... I can fully believed that happened to someone at some point because people are people and statistical inevitability is a thing
