huh thats rare, first Fat Electrician video and its NOT the Cheese Bunkers. dont see that too often.

You can think of a "theater" of war as a region that the war is fighting in.  In WW2 there were two that the U.S. fought in, the Pacific and European theaters.

Please please please, react to more Fat Electrician, I know everyone is going to say it, but this guy has taught me more history in a single video than I have ever learned in school.   His videos are safe to react to, and as far as I understand, he uses reactions to guage how well he's conveyed the story & details.

If Wartime history Isn't your thing, he has a second channel (The videos are formatted the same) call 'The Fat Files' over on that channel he does videos related to businesses and other random things that he looks into.

There's no wrong order to watch his videos, pick something you think may be interesting, and have fun. That being said, I do have some suggestions!! (Not sure if you accept suggestions through comments, but)

1. The Fighting Preacher - Logan Weston   length : (1:22:56s)

2. How A Chicken Farmer & Inflatable Tanks Won WW2 - Agent Garbo & The Ghost Army   Length : (33:56s)

3. The Black Swallow Of Death - Eugene Bullard   Length : (47:38s)

No matter which you pick, we'll love to see it lol

Great video! I'll definitely be subbing to catch the next time you watch one!
💛

Another really good video of Nick’s is his video on Roy Benavidez the “Real life Rambo”.  That man is like the terminator and never let anything stop him.

The Bombadier made a good call. You can replace an officer in an hour but you cannot replace a whole ass depot just like that.

Hollywood: We can make a movie about this or, hear me out, or we can make a movie of Willy Wonka in High School.

theater is absolutely a proper term in this context, such as the expression "the theater of war"

For more airplane action, highly recommend his video on Robin olds, "America obliterates half of North Vietnams mig 21 fleet in 13 minutes"

I think you'll really like Nick's video on 'The Angels, and the raid on Los Baños.'

Also, I will never stop saying this quote from Justin Patterson, "Don't ever forget, that the real heroes never came home".

Pause for cat purr then leverage it as subscription bait.

Well-played, woman.
Well-played.

This is a rabbit hole you want to go down. Nick is the best storyteller on YouTube. Many vtubers react to Nick's videos. He has a second channel called the fat files which is about businesses and very very good. You'll learn an awful lot. The last one is on lunchables and it is eye-opening

Another pilot video to react to is on Richard bong

18:30 Being too valuable to lose is the bane of many pilots, but it also was the best choice as our top Aces trained new pilots to be better and Japan's Aces went on to die in combat causing a brain drain replaced with worse and worse pilots.

14:50 theres an airshow at an airport near my childhood home. The blue angels would turn round so low above our house that we could see the individual panels in the wings. It was so cool, then rules got tighter and they dont fly over anymore

I would highly recommend his video on the Chosin Reservoir 'US Marines Surrounded By Communists - The Chosin Reservoir'.
literally makes me tear up at the end every time.

War can bring out the best and worst in people. In the case of the Eager Beavers, it brought out the absolute best in them. A brotherhood that could never be broken.

the CGI dogfight is from the old History Channel show Dogfights

the ones who go rouge usually change the war for the better and have the most impact. but the majority of the army do need to follow orders.

23:00 they remind me alot of the squad from 86

"We are the Eighty-Six. We live and die on the battlefield. That is our only pride."

"Is there anyone stupid enough to hang themselves because they know they'll die tomorrow? Even if you know you're going to die, you still have to live until that moment comes.”

a new hand has touched the fat /j

Nick is actually a really good storyteller, i also recommend his side channel, Fat Files, which goes over businesses like little caesar's and arizona

10:33 “theater” is basically the name given to the operations in a region in general. I.e, the pacific theater, the European theater, etc
