The F-35 has stealth, advanced sensors, and a pilot who probably shouldn’t have had that second coffee. At AFA 2026, AIRION displayed its AIRUS pilot pee system—and thoughtfully included a “Magnum” option. Finally, a sizing chart fighter pilots can argue about.

I got handed a zip-lock baggy of pee once when going to safe the seats in a 15E. Told the backseater "I'm just a weapons dude, you can keep that." 🤣🤣

Ya'll got it backwards (maybe in joke?). Tea makes you pee. It is the worst thing you could drink if you need to not go pee for awhile.

I use to do long distance motorcycle rallies, time is money as they say. I trained myself to ride fuel tank to fuel tank, 350+ miles. There were external catheters that you would use adhesive to keep it on, I never had luck with them. Supposedly those who did use them would not use the leg bag and ran the tube out their suit leg at the boot, fuel up the tank and leave a puddle or spray the car following too close. I'm dealing with an enlarge prostate right now and having a catheter inserted is not fun, but not worrying about where the restrooms are, is a blessing. Procedure this week.

The A-7E had a pee tube where you whipped it out and put it in a funnel with a button and did your business. Keep in mind this was designed during the Vietnam War where only men flew.

I used to work in the field a lot and didn't always have a place to go. I kept an empty clorox bottle on the truck. They're heavy duty, made to safely contain a very nasty chemical, opaque/white, so no one has to see what's in it, and they have a locking cap.

The "Medium" Stamp Myth: A persistent wartime legend claims Churchill ordered large or double-sized condoms to be shipped to Soviet troops or the enemy, stamped with labels like "Made in Britain – Medium" or "Extra Small" to mock them.
Magnum could also be a reference to Australian Pilots who regularly fly in helecopters and drive fancy cars in Hawaii in the 80's. Tom Sellick was apparently pretty hot to the girls back then.

It could be worse. The Apollo Astronauts had a "shared" rubber condom like device. The fear was they might "catch" something from each other using it.
