Oh man Tree of Tranquility and Animal Parade were both my absolute favourites. I go back and play them both every year. For a wii game the graphics still hold up well thanks to the art style. I also love the over all art style for the characters! They're my favourites too! So much character and love put into them.

I for one have not forgotten this gem of a game. My pfp on half of the platforms I use features Anissa from this game.

Part time jobs actually made it's debut on save the homeland and it also returned in hero of the leaf valley

I just recently started playing to again and man I missed this game. Playing it makes see where stardew even got its roots. I wish there was a way to bring this game to the spot. Especially in a YouTube sense. Would be awesome to have this game again on saitch

4:27 sos trio of towns also has a part time system but the time does not auto skip you actually have to make deliveries or do chores or ship requests. You got gifts, affection for the npcs went up and you made money i really enjoyed it in trio

I'm currently playing tree of tranquility and it's been pretty slow going. I also feel the like the game doesn't do a good job at directing what to do to further the story along, I had no clue I needed the fishing rod to progress until watching this video. Overall I'm not sure what do make of the game. Anyways great video!

I’m so glad you gave ToT it’s own video! Most people tend to focus on AP (which, does have a lot of improvements and I love it too), but ToT has it’s good moments too 💕
Also, oof I feel you on not unlocking the new villagers quickly. As a kid I didn’t complete my first rainbow until year three. I ended up hating the default clothes because I was stuck with them for so long lol
I love that you focused on the part time jobs aspect, because it’s such a useful feature! I really wish they had carried it onto at least Animal Parade

Magical Melody will always be my favorite in this series, but I think this game was the best. Thanks for giving it its props!

Have to say I love your video style and your knowledge 🖤 harvest moon fans are the best. Hope to see more of your videos if you decide to do more harvest moon content!

I played the german translation and it had like a bunch of spelling mistakes that confused me as a kid

I'm fascinated by your take on the early game, I mean yeah your stam is terrible but I'd do my farm work, hit the hot spring which they put RIGHT THERE and then I'd have Luke open the North exit as quick as possible so I could sell raw wonderfuls from the mine. That gets you the hammer levels early and you can break into the ranch before the festival to get a chicken and as you know chickens are BANK because you can breed them and in the old games chicks don't get sick. The coop comes with a bell and until fall it barely rains so you just ring the bell in the morning and the chickens eat grass. I feel like money was way harder in 64, the DS Islands, and even hero of leaf valley

My mom married Jin and we found him boring. In my file, I went after Chase and he was a bit better.

I'm super hopeful ToT/AP, or Magical Melody will be next 🥹
