Dude, your sleep over night at the toll station  had made a news on the homepage of Qinghai highway  corporation  As an example of warmly serving the people😂

that dude who let you sleep in the office was a fucking champion

the two dudes u met were amazing and so cool, really shows the true hospitality. very encouraging to travel

My late wife and I travelled to China twice, and each visit touched our hearts in a way that words can barely capture. Everywhere we went, we were met with extraordinary hospitality: warm smiles, quiet acts of kindness, and a generosity of spirit that made us feel truly cared for.
Hangzhou, especially, remains etched in my memory. The people there welcomed us not as tourists, but almost as family, offering help, conversation, and warmth that felt deeply personal. It was a place where strangers showed us compassion without hesitation, and where my wife felt an unexpected and beautiful sense of peace.
These memories mean even more to me now. Visiting China had been on her bucket list, a dream she carried long before cancer entered our lives. And I will always be grateful that we were able to go (twice) while she was still well enough to travel. China received her with open arms and treated her with grace, gentleness, and dignity.
China’s landscapes are breathtaking, but for us, it was the kindness of its people that made those journeys unforgettable. They gave her joy during a time when joy was rare, and for that, I will always hold a deep love and gratitude for the people of China.
Thank you for sharing your journey with the world. Your reflections bring depth, honesty, and humanity to all who watch them.

Hey Mike, concerned fan here. My mother had skin cancer before. She had it on her nose and it looked exactly like what you have on your left side around the tip. Please go check it out it is very treatable. Much love and great to see how absolutely friendly Chinese people are.

It makes such a difference when people show you China without any media agenda.  What beautiful people, and those two lads were so cool.

11:22 absolutely killed me 😂😂 “I reckon he bats for the other team”

As a American, I love Chinese culture and would love to visit in the future. Our government doesn’t speak for our people !! Much love

Hello Mike I‘m an audience of your vlogs from China. I just signed up here to comment because your experience activated my memory and I would like to share my story.
In 2016 when I was an oversea student in the UK, once I travelled to Cornwall with my friends. We chose a tavern in Penzance by the sea, however we were late checkin at midnight so when we got there the staff of the tavern was off-duty. When we were confused about the location, we met 4 or 5 elderly English people walking a dog. They were also travelers from other city so they didn’t know the tavern either, but they went with us for half an hour to help us find the tavern, and made sure the key from reception could open the room door before they left. Surprisingly, after another half an hour, they knocked our door with a big bag of food—bread, milk, biscuits and sausages….for us. They told us there’s no store around and all restaurants were closed so they worried if we have enough food for the night.
I think I was shocked at that time just like what you did in the video. Wish those nice people have good luck & health.

China truly seems like such a beautiful place with the nicest people all over. Love these vids

I have to say the Chinese people are almost like parents to Mike at this point. Just carrying him to and from cities in his spinning top hat 😂

As an American it is so nice to see the kindness and hospitality of the Chinese people.  Thank you for showing this foreigner with such kindness and respect.  We can all learn something from the way you accept and treat others.   God bless the people of China

Imagine asking a US cop if you could sleep in the police station. The hospitality of the people is amazing, and also gives me a bit of hope for humanity.

I'm from China. I don't know why every time I watch your videos, I always feel a sense of strength and passion for life. It might be because of your smile, or maybe because of what you're doing.

Mike, your speech at the end about the prayer flags and how nothing is permanent is exactly what I needed right now. I attended my fathers funeral today, i stopped throughout this video to spontaneously sob, but I’m glad I watched it all the way through, you brought a peace to my heart in a subtle kind of way. nothing is permanent. live in every moment you’ve got. thank you.

Every person should watch this video and take note of the kindness and love that these people have shown to a complete stranger. We can all learn something from these beautiful people. This video warmed my heart to the positive nature that humanity can have. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to witness this.

14:16 The red banner he received bears the inscription: "Dedicated to helping tourists in urgent need, a true public servant for the people." that is the truth.

Bro you are single handedly braking down the American propaganda on China. What lovely people.

I travel up to inner Mongolia and I'm from South Carolina. People in China have always been incredibly friendly and kind to me. There are many Muslims as well as Mongolians in this area.

I must say you've completely changed my mind on chinese people throughout this trip. Most of these people seem genuinely nice and welcoming in difference to what I've believed before. I saw them as some alien enemies, but I've been misled. Thank you Mike :)
