Which Smash Bros Characters Can Canonically Play an Instrument?

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster has already been judged on their smooching streak, but which of them have that musical vibe? Be it real-world or in-world instruments, I want to know which of these Nintendo (or otherwise) characters can keep the beat or hold a tune! But I’m not just looking at instrument proficiency- I want to know if they can sing too! 🎵
And another reminder that this video series was inspired by “Which Smash Bros characters have canonically eaten Pizza,” so be sure to check that video out too!

Sonic does play an instrument. In sonic and the secret rings he plays the violin with his friends as one of the party minigames. So it's a definite yes.

Be like Meta Knight
- Doesn't sing or play an instrument
- Wins a Grammy
- Doesn't elaborate
- Leaves

Megaman X and Megaman are two different characters, but his Japanese name is Rockman so he probably knows how to shred.

Fun Fact Terry actually does play an instrument. He's a drummer as depicted in a piece of official King of Fighters artwork.
Dude actually has a lot of hobbies he's not really a martial arts head like the other fighting game guys. Like did you know he's into street basketball?

Bowser playing the accordian has long been one of my favorite obscure Bowser facts ever.

Mega Man and X are two separate characters. however Mega Man still counts as he plays a guitar fashioned to look like his dog Rush for the art of the Rockman 30th anniversary concert

Wild that you would source Tomodachi Life and not Wii Music.

I'm pretty sure Olimar does play an instrument.
In Pikmin 4, one of the recovery bonuses in Olimar's Shipwreck Tale is the Lineup Trumpet, which Olimar plays to make the Pikmin swarm enemies.

6:55 Sonic actually does play an instrument in game. In Sonic Shuffle there is a minigame where the characters play a guitar and Sonic being a playable characters plays one too.

For an extra: Sonic is actually depicted singing in the end credits for Sonic the hedgehog on game gear.

Actually any Pokemon introduced prior to Gen 6 can play an instrument due to being able to play instruments in the Gen 5 Pokemon Musicals

So, kissing was 40% hornier than eating pizza. I feel like non-musicians would say this was less horny than kissing but my musician friends would say it's more.

Controversy abounds!

Bayonetta didn't just sing in Bayonetta 3.
In the first game, she sung Fly Me To The Moon as a lullaby for Little Cereza.

9:32 If you buy Pyra's favorite instrument, she will mention that she loves it 500 years ago, and nothing has changed, but that doesn't confirm if she can play an instrument
