It's very difficult to defend Christianity when you are educated.

The differents is asking some a faith based question based off of fact is subjective based on that person's faith. Its like asking do you believe in life on other planets and if you say I don't know means its a lie

Peterson is threatened so he's trying to drive the conversation towards familiar territory. Safe territory that he feels equipped to defend.

JP is somewhat aggressive in style, in speech and clearly quite highly emotionally aroused.

10:31 its besides the issue? They repeatedly asked a direct question. That question is the issue. Hes just trying to argue it doesnt matter if its factual its done good for the world so its true wether or not its true. Just non sense

Religious intellectual is an oxymoron. Religion depends on a lack of intellect in many ways. They say the lord works in mysterious ways and then claim they possess the word of the lord.

It’s so funny how Peterson each time tried to move the topic to some abstract nonsense, talks for 5min, Dawkins nods and says « yeah, ok, ok » and when Peterson is done he’s always like « So are you going to answer that simple yes or no question I asked? »

No, he actually doesn't know what the metaphorical meaning of Biblical stories are; he accepts his particular interpretation of what those stories mean.
In the cultural traditions of the time period, women were considered to be Property, and as such Mary saying "god's will be done" is the equivalent of a Happy Slave saying "my master, tell me what to do"
Mary was part of a cultural tradition that told women that their choices were made by other people, they didn't have the Right or Authority to say NO to their Patriarchal Masters. Mary wasn't consenting any more than Slave would give consent to her Master that made demands of her.
The modern interpretation of the story is based on thousands of years of shifting cultural interpretations of how people should behave, and thus they changed the "meaning" of the story to justify their current interpretation of proper behaviors.
Christianity isn't "objective"; the base meanings of their stories have been completely re-written multiple times. Christianity is an Ongoing Self-Justification loop designed to allow nearly any behavior, motivation, or conclusion to be "justifed" as "from the Bible"
Hilter demonstrated that it's easy to take a bunch of "Good Christians" and manipulate their beliefs into allowing for atrocities to be justified.
Modern Christianty is nothing like what past Christianity was like; and the masses of gullible believers is what has allowed MAGA to become the modern American version of the Brown Shirts.
