Edit: I hear some of the complaints/critiques and I am going to apply it to my next video. Sorry, i am just learning as I go! I will remove the background music and ramble less and try to stick to a script! Thanks!

Hello everyone! I am s excited to release my first long form video in SOOOOO long!! I honestly love discussing any type of book, film, or tv show theory! If you like these types of videos then comment down some ideas down below and I will add it to my list of ideas! Besides that, what are your views on these theories? Unhinged or?

Yeah, Foxface totally knew that the berries native only to D12 and weren't covered in the poisonous plants training were poisonous 😂😂😂

Also, I think that matching game in the movie is a reflex test because of how fast she's moving. It never read to me as an identification test

I'm laughing at the Annie is a replacement theory, some Hunger Games fans will say anything to deny that D4 is a career district. Its book canon guys!!!!

the gimmick for the 74th Hunger Games arena was that it was modelled after the forests of district 12. Snow has seen them and thought it was a scary and 'ghastly' landscape. There are even Mockingjays in the trees, he probably enjoyed the idea of the birds he hated being trapped in his arena. Katniss was lucky that this was the arena she was sent to.

Thing about the berries and Foxface that also deconfirms the theory is that Katniss says that the Nightlock heavily resembled the berries Rue showed her. There's a real chance that even if she DID study for the berries, she didn't realize they were Nightlock, and thought they were the same berries as the ones Rue gathered herself. Remember, she was super malnourished And about to starve to death by then, her eyesight wouldn't have been the best in that moment, it would make sense for her to mix up the berries.

Her eating them and assuming they were safe was either an accident by malnourishment, or because She Saw Peeta gathering them and planning to eat them himself

President Coin being Lucy Gray made me laugh. Lucy Gray would be 81 years old during the second rebellion. Coin was in her 50s.

I think one of the best theories I've heard is that since the hunger games are a tv show, the gamemaker wants to make sure they have a good show, and one of the story tellings the gamemakers wanted to sell for the 74th hunger games was a story of a protector and a protected, so for district 11 and 12 they rigged the reaping to make sure they would have a strong old enough boy (Peeta and Thresh) and a very young girl (Rue and Prim), so the only names in the urnes were those kids who matches those descriptions

2:16 barely even started and we already got one of the “Lucy Gray is someone else,” theory. Lucy Gray is Lou Lou especially irks me, because the ages don’t line up at all, and people only want it because they want more Lucy Gray. Can we just accept that Ballad was the end of her story😭😭

TBH if anyone did something rebellious I think it was Cato. They had no reason to drag his death down for 24+ hours, no one would even watch for a straight day

I think what everyone forgets about Annie is that she’s from District 4 which means she was a career and could have volunteered to go into the games so she may have had good odds of winning

I have a insane theory so if snow didn’t kill Sid and Lenore dove  if snow waited 2 years he would rig the reaping so Sid and Lenore dove went into the games and force Haymitch to mentor them

I have two theories. First one, career tributes didn’t become a thing until the first quarter quell when kids were voted in. Second one, Plutarch recruited Finnick by “renting” him. I think he is the one who gave Finnick the idea of trading his services for secrets.

I believe that Finnick was Annie's mentor and fell in love with her. After the Games began and she lost her mind, Finnick used his connections in the Capitol to flood the arena, knowing it was her only chance to win and return to him.

My biggest theory that I've never seen anyone talk about is that I believe the Capitol has other Hunger Games other than the annual ones. These games are funded by the ultra wealthy sorta like the Squid Game VIPs a show is put on specifically for them to watch. These games would be played in past arenas or in arenas that had just finished being built so that they could test out the mechanics of the arena before the annual games. The tributes for these games would be Capitol prisoners and avoxes that were no longer needed or that committed serious crimes against the Capitol. And no I don't think anyone would know about these games other than the ultra wealthy and there would also be no records of these games kept since basically other than for entertainment and testing the arenas the tributes in these games wouldn't matter.

The Lou Lou one doesn’t make sense like at all. You guys realise Lucy would be 56 then. Not even the capitol can make a 56 year old woman look like she’s a teenager

and did you see the one that said that snow knew the fence in district 12 didn't have electricy and he left it that way because he secretly hoped lucy bray would come back to him!

The problem with the first Annie theory is that she likely wouldn’t be from the same district, like Lou Lou. Meaning, she wouldn’t have been able to swim as well as she did (district 4 = sea = good swimming, other districts = haha gl). I think it’s an interesting theory, her behaviour matches up with Lou Lou, but yeah prob not real

I agree that most of these are unhinged! I would personally put the Foxface one just a bit higher, but other than that, pretty spot on! Lucy Gray is just Lucy Gray!

Here’s one:
I think that Alma Coin is Alma Snow. But District 13 took her away during the Dark Days and Crassus Snow passed “during the war” while in 12, attempting to make his way to 13. Remember that The Capitol manipulates information, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’d sold a d*ath at birth of Coriolanus’ sister since they wouldn’t want to seem weak. She’s raised as Alma Coin instead (because 13 flipped the coin when they took her). Think of it: Alma means “soul”, and together with the heart is considered the centre of the body. And the centre of Panem, “like a beating heart” is The Capitol.
Katniss described her as being “in her fifties”, but we all know that surgeries are at the core of the Capitol, and what if Alma had access to them.
What if she was told that she was surrendered as a peace truce by the Capitol, and began hating her family, especially her brother, President Snow. That’s why she wants him ex*cuted.
Think about it.
Next book might be about Alma Coin.

my thoughts on fox face i think that had she known the berries were poisonous she would have carried them with her. she would have tried to stay alive if anything happened instead of dying slow she would have just eaten them to die fast.

The idea that Foxface knew the berries were poisonous is a 2 at best. It doesn’t even make sense internally.
Soooo she knows the berries are poison but obviously Peeta doesn’t as he is collecting them to eat. He puts them with their other food.
So.. seeing that these 1-2 competitors are likely about to accidentally poison themselves… she decides it’s not worth it, she’ll never win, and eats them herself on purpose?
Also erasing the idea that she absolutely knows there are threats like Mutts and gamemaker tricks out there to take care of Cato and the others and other victors have absolutely won by just hiding/holding out.

That’s dumb as hell.
