in retrospect, really very funny that Peeta's dad decided to tell his five-year-old son that his mother wasn't his first choice lmao

from peetas pov it just sounds like wild fanfic about the handsome quiet guy in school

His mom was so unnecessarily mean like???? "That everdeen girl might bring it home for us this year." "Gee thanks mom"

"I'm going to have to watch the girl I admired die from a distance. That's when I hear Effie call out my name. Guess it won't be from a distance" 😂

"this is weird and I respect her, I hope that got across"
meanwhile Katniss: "what a weird spasm"

“If two people are in a dangerous situation they’re more likely to fall in love...I’d say the odds are in my favor”💀✋

Bread boy really is the best

“Go out with a bang like katniss’s father”💀

This is Katniss telling their children the story of their first games, however she has to make it cuter and light hearted to get through it, so she does it from Peeta's perspective lol

Peeta is best boy!!!
My heart broke at the end of book 1 when he found out how Katniss was faking her feelings in the game. He's a 10/10!

girls no longer want a provider like Gale, he would get in the way of me girlbossing and would get pissy  if you made more money. Peeta would pack you a lunch everyday and rub your feet when you got home and gossip about coworkers with you. im a Peeta stan forever

"my name is peeta like the bread" how have i never connected these two dots before

“katniss’s stylist in providing us costumes so we can go out with a bang just like katniss’s father.” IM SORRY WHAT?!

I read the books and I've always been team Peeta. The movie casting didn't changed that because Josh Hutchinson can act, that boy was good.

If everybody had a good opinion of Katniss because her dad used to help everyone, and then she took over the job of helping people with her hunting, how was she struggling so bad rain soaked bread was her only option? No one was kind enough to help the village helper?? kinda sad if you think about it

I want the whole trilogy recapped

7:08 lol
Peeta: hope that came across
Katniss: maybe it was a nervous spasm

Thanks for this video, Amanda. I always thought that the series would be just as interesting through Peeta's eyes, but we only glimpsed a tiny bit of his backstory. His mother was clearly abusive to him and his brothers, and while his father seemed kind enough, he couldn't stand up to his wife.

I don’t CARE what anyone says i’m a peeta girly before im human ❤️

Daaaang it’s so well written. Also love how complex Peeta is… like humans are complex. And he’s normally reduced as “the Betty” “sweet vanilla boy” “the weaker one” “boy next door” and all that. And don’t get me wrong, I love my sweet, cute boyish boys, but he’s so charismatic and charming. Such a good main character.
