I actually did some research and collated some data for WWE RAW shows from various eras under Paul "Triple H" Levesque and compared them to Vince McMahon era WWE RAWs throughout the decades to prove a point:

Wrestling fans say there isn't enough wrestling on WWE programming - I make the argument that it ISN'T the actual bell-to-bell time of the matches that's the problem, because that's as high as it's ever been. My issue is that the low amount of matches, and the excessive filler and advertisements TKO pump into every single WWE show are the real problem. There's also the dire state of the WWE RAW main event scene - you wouldn't go to see half the main events for FREE if they advertised these matches in advance...

The formatting needs to change, and the shows of years gone by that you probably enjoyed way more than you do now had way LESS wrestling than it does now. Triple H could change up the format of the shows tomorrow, but I have a feeling we will continue to get less action, less matches and more sponsors in its place.
