Best Tribute Show I've Ever Seen...

James Romero

AEW and Tony Khan and the wrestlers put out a wonderful tribute to Benjamin "Pac/Neville" Satterley who passed away on Sunday after performing at All In 2026 less than 24 hours prior.

The show featured numerous wrestlers paying tribute to their fallen colleague, many matches with plenty of callbacks to Pac matches, a bizarrely prescient promo filmed after All Out where Jon Moxley basically eulogises himself but takes on new meaning after the fact, and the amazing return of Bryan Danielson who looked great after 2 years away from the ring.

How renee managed to hold it together while reading the statement from pacs family was super human, alot of respect to that lady.

AEW really does a good job with tributes, I still can’t believe he’s gone.

This was as beautiful as it was heartbreaking. I hope we don't have to do it again for a very long time. RIP PAC. 😞

The whole episode was a tear jerker, but for some reason seeing Austin Creed break down as soon as he got on the apron really got to me. I myself was at All Out and Pac passed right in front of us during his entrance. I'm glad I got to cheer The Bastard one last time for his final match. Rest in Peace, Ben Satterley 🙏

Like or Hate AEW, Like or Hate Tony Khan, one thing is undeniable is Tony Khan and AEW, take care or each other and TK himself is an incredible human being for the things he does to his people. This isnt even debatable or questionable, he truly takes care of his people and their familes. This show as other memorial shows in AEW were simpky incredible.

The Moxley promo at the beginning which was the evening of all out and knowing whats happened since obviously, is absolutely wild and gives you chills.

I will never crap on AEW again. (Not my cup of tea booking wise), but Tony Khan is just a great human being. He and his roster really did right by PAC. Must See, R.I.P

I love the show and cried at the end during that video package

People can say what they want about TK. But the way he does tributes to past wrestlers show he cares about his people. AEW always does beautiful tributes.

This was the most moving and emotional pro wrestling broadcast I've ever seen... It's going to stay with me for a long time. RIP PAC

I cried. A 40 year old man cried like a baby at this show. It was heart breaking.

The Brodie Lee tribute show was the best episode of wrestling television I've ever seen. Yet I hoped I never had to watch another show like it ever again. That being said, this show was beautiful! I think I never jumped out of my seat and started to cry at the same time like when Will hit the Black Arrow. They really nailed this tribute show.
Here goes hoping again that we will never have to have one of these shows because an active wrestler in their prime suddenly dies.

Eddie's was deep sadness, Brays was total shock, this was raw grief.

There is a common meme now that says 'WWE is a show about wrestling, but AEW is a wrestling show'. After last night's Dynamite I would say this;

"WWE is a wrestling company, AEW is a wrestling FAMILY."

Whether you are a fan or not. you have to recognize that AEW has assembled a collection of athletes that are all working toward the goal of putting on the best wrestling show they can every time out. I have no idea what Bryan was thinking last night but it was obvious what he was feeling.... Great show, great tribute, great wrestling.

PAC's tribute show was definitely the most genuine wrestling tribute show I've ever seen. Gotta give it up to everyone for bringing their A game with emotions so high. RIP PAC

In the spirit of last night’s beautiful wrestling show, I just want to put out into the universe how much I appreciate you James and your thoughtful, excellent content. Thanks for being my favorite YT wrestling content creator. Always great stuff James, thank you.

That last promo featuring PAC was eerily prophetic

Best Tribute Show I've Ever Seen, I agree 100% with this statement

That was hard to watch. I'm not afraid to admit I cried.

What a great tribute show. Mox started the show. And after it went off air. Mox came back out to end it with a quote from Pac. We are professionals who give a $hit. Mox is the true leader of the locker room. How hard that must have been.
