They're afraid to let new talent shine at the top level

It's not the age
It's the fact that it's the same guys over and over

HHH: "New and younger stars aren't getting over because they aren't working hard enough"

HHH: "Books every World Champion to be over 40 years old by beating younger stars nonstop"

"Main Eventers have to be 40+"
Then why the hell is La Knight  still not used properly with 43? Is he supposed to wait till 60?😂

They don't have an AGE problem per se, they have a BOOKING problem. They have an absolute TON of young talents that could be main event stars, but they refuse to put the title on anyone under 40. That's purely a booking issue.

Sounds like WCW, where the top spots were strictly occupied by vets or the clique, while actual talented wrestlers were stuck in the midcard and didnt see success until they jumped ship like Benoit, Jericho, Eddie, etc.

Vince Era, all his champs where in their 20s….HHH era, pushing Vince’s same champs who are now in their 40s.

Nothing will change, we have seen that. Triple H and TKO have too big of egos. Sad but true.

This is because WWE is failing to create new stars. Period

Its crazy how successfully that OVW class of 02 was, truly lighting in a bottle. Its like they gave up on development and just push folks most of us grew up on since they are household names. Pretty sad for the folks who have been over a long time but never get pushed.

Fun fact: No WWE superstar born in the 1990s has been a world champion.

EDIT: this only applies to the male wrestlers.

WWE is the actual All Elderly Wrestling

WWE to talent: YOU'RE GONNA BE DOING THIS UNTIL YOU'RE 90 😂😂

Is it me or 2026 WWE reminds us that its similar to 1990’s WCW where they would put older stars like the Lex Luger, late Hogan, the late Hall, Nash, the late Savage, Scott Steiner, the late Warrior, Brutus Beefcake over newer, younger generations like Booker T, Goldberg, AJ Styles, every year.

These chumps are older than the Hulkster when jumped to WCW in 1994. As well as Hot Rod Piper and Bret Hart to name a few. Time flies.

Oba and Bron will probably main event their first wrestlemania when they are in their 40s.

More important: there is a management problem and a booking problem that's for sure. The age is a small issue, it would've never been a thing if it wasn't for the poor booking

HHH has the wrestlers, literally in the same exact spot in the car that they were before Vince left. It’s not an age problem. It’s the lack of creativity and able to book wrestling properly.

Sting is the king of aging. Was going through glass at 64 and moving great in his last run

Not letting the new guys shine, using them in dead story lines that get them frustrated enough to want to leave. A WWE classic fumble.
