Hello folks. I was inundated with emails for my lovely CRV for sale. Happily it’s now gone to a new home as a reliable family car.

If you’d like me to offer more well sorted, used cars that I can personally vouch for in future then like this comment. It won’t happen that often but if it helps I’m happy to do it! - Grant

Jeez I’m not even interested in cars & I’ve been watching this Channel for 4 hours & now subscribe 😂🤦‍♀️

Well ,had two. 1.4 hdi in a 208 allure. Done  over 85000 in that and was sweet as a nut when the daughter wrecked it at over 130.000. My 2008 14 plate is over 100,000 and still on original battery. Starts on the button. No winding it up. It is faultless. No faults at all. Had this from 1200 miles and never been in a peugeot garage. It just works. Period

My daughter had a 1.6 Peugeot 2008. Nothing but trouble with the ad blue system over a couple of years. Spent nearly £3000 on repair bills.

I like these cars to buy and not to buy videos . Keep up the  good work....

Or a Yeti ?

Absolutely a breath of fresh air in the car review world. Entertaining, informative and pretension free. I'm not a car person (I drive my dear Mum's KA Mk 2- which has been great btw) but have learnt so much from what to buy next - or just hang on till the KA goes west. But I enjoy the format of this channel as pure Youtube enjoyment regardless.

I think the games up for all modern cars. They are crap that will be lucky to stay out of landfill after the warranty expires.

I came back to Scotland in May to buy a small SUV in Scotland , 2013 Suzuki S-\Cross 1.6 DDIS AllGrip with 70,000miles; to drive all over Europe all year. Worth EUR12k here; cost me £3,500 in Scotland. Extremely economical up to about 60mpg, and lots of power on sport mode especially if rpm above 1,200 (turbo lag below that) and even better economy and power once spent EUR150 to remap (chip), and also delete the EGR valve.
Only downside was having a belt instead of a cam chain, but did that in Sh1tain before I left. Now I have done 20,000 miles and the only issue had been a sticky EGR valve but used cleaning spray then deleted it at the tuning place. Moonroof and leather interior are great. I slept in it instead of setting up my tend in the mountains in Portugal, Italy and Andorra as the seats go almost flat. I have snow tyres now in Slovenia,, Croatia and Austria, and it handles well. I had been looking for a CRV but I am glad I got this instead. Small on the outside, big on the inside.

Hi, I am very happy you said the Honda crv is robust and no problems with it, we've had Honda in the family for near on 10 years, I own a 2007 civic 6 spped at moment but looking to buy a crv, you have made my mind up for me, I'm in London so it's going to be a petrol automatic, I'm not rich so going to try and get a 12/13 plate or the model with lower road tax

I came very close to buying that exact pre-facelift CRV a year ago! Spoke with the dealer and was gonna go see it but went to see a Mazda CX3 first (also at a dealership in Luton) and went for that instead. As much as I fancied the CRV, I really needed something ULEZ compliant. Anyway, no regrets!

hey, i would love to see your opinions on the best cheap (5K or lower) automatics

The V6 diesel Touaregs (same engine in the Porsche) have a problen with a leaking coolant pipe... Right at the bottom of the engine, in the 'V'. It's really hard to get to. Cheaper to refill the coolant reservoir every month.

Best advice on the net very professional

LOVE your channel great upfront honesty true Scottish style.

I have a Vauxhall Mokka turbo 1.4, and I've had mine for 5 years. My head gasket went 2 years ago and cost me £1100 to repair just after i brought it home from a full service, it was only after that i heard the Mokka 's have this problem. So i know what you say is right. Thank you.

I actually have a 2004 Mk5 Grand Vitara, 2l petrol. Heavy on petrol and undergeared, but it climbs out of anything and is very reliable. OEM parts are reasonable too.

Reference the cross land is that all 1.2 engines which are wetbelt or just the eco tec to avoid
