I love that Chilton used the first born twin to figure out their motivation. Ted's influence is always everywhere.

As is tradition, the penultimate episode of the season has Rebecca and Ted facing each other revealing shocking news.
This episode was dedicated to Anthony Head (Rupert) confirming he won’t appear this season. It was filmed before his death but as Annette Badland (Mae) revealed, he was too sick to take part,
And yeah, Annette did confirm Mae’s death sadly.

RIP Mae. I'm glad she got to see them win before she passed away 💔

I'd like to issue a personal "f*** you" in Roy Kent's voice to Jason Sudeikis for this episode, which happened to air today on the 4th anniversary of my father's passing. RIP dad and Mae.

Love Alice's smile when she sees Shannon working after practice.
As a coach, seeing your insite and encouragement working is a great feeling. I love how they included that moment. It was as much for us to see Shannon as it was Alice's proud coach moment

If Mae's gone, her shares may come into play for control of the Greyhounds.

Mae went out in the best way, doing what she loved!!  The actress has confirmed she passed.  The Roy and Keely moment took the sting out it. It was touching to see the tribute to Anthony Head at the end too!!  May owns a lot of shares which should throw a monkey wrench into Zelda's plans.

Mae passing and the silence at the end was in memory of Anthony head passing away the actor of rupert. RIP

Mae will save Rebecca in the clutch from the grave she left her shares definitely to Rebecca or someone who sides with Rebecca like Ted and I guess it’ll be revealed in the last minutes of the finale

We're Richmond til we die! RIP Mae

Mae had the best day, what a way to go! 😊😔

R.I.P. Mae Green.
You will truly be missed.

Steven saying Boots should now be called Gloves made me lol

Said it before will say it again.  Mae had the greatest last day of her life ever.  She died knowing pure joy.  We should all be so lucky.  Thank you Mae for reminding us why we do what we do.

I can see that Mae might have left her shares to Ted or maybe to Henry

The level of symbolism in the Milk Sisters scene is WILD. It's like, Twin Peaks-level symbolism.

Frumpy old-money rich women sitting on c*nty red couches in a boring room = money and power doesn't always present itself the way one might assume or expect
Parrot in a gilded cage covered with a white shroud = the billionaire class willing to sell their souls for opulence and power and unable to see past the ends of their noses
The GREEN flowers sparsely gathered in the vase = Mae coming in from the grave to save Richmond in the finale
The image of the bull between the two sisters lit from behind by an open window = the extremism of these two opposing forces on each other and how "the bull" will eventually rampage and is unbiased about how or who it maims along the way

They laid it on THICK in that scene!!!

Have a 2.5 yr old girl.  Started to get dust in my eyes when she had something to tell Roy.  My lady completely surprised me similarly.  Than the flood gates opened when Ted just lowered his head during that distance shot.  Life is fragile... in the beginning and at the end

A little detail that I noticed, when Shannon stayed at night to practice alone she wore the shirt that Ronaldinho used to wear with that iconic circled number (I think it's a promotional shirt or Brazilian national team). The connection is that Ronaldinho is the icon of joga bonito, a street football style, and Shannon also rises from the streets of Richmond!

Went from cheering to crying is .0001 seconds. RIP Mae 🕊️

The pregnancy at the same time as Mae's passing was definitely an intentional "Circle of Life" thing
