Should we watch more dc movies?

Luthor doesn't know about Clark/Superman in this movie.

78 and this are the real superman.

The first Superman movie not to show an origin story as it's already been established in the new DC Universe.

The reason he's angry about the dog Krypto not because Luthor took him but Supergirl is his owner and she has no qualms about killing everybody who took him. Superman doesn't kill though but Supergirl doesn't have that rule.

also, laser vision drains his solar energy more than anything else, so spamming it wouldn't be the smartest especially when he's not aiming to kill anyone with it.

LOL!! 😅😂🤣
The fact that Lily had to stop the recording in order to clarify thar she does know SOME countries was hilarious! 😄

Since everyone is telling y’all to watch the 1978 Superman, just know that Superman (2026) samples John Williams’ original Superman theme.

9:40 if he flew straight to Lex, people would see and figure out they're working together

I feel you should watch the 1978 IMHO because I feel that should be the basis for Superman before watching Man of Steele. This movie and the old 1978 are more accurate to how superman in the comics are. Superman may have all that power but a key personality trait that Superman has is that he Never Kills and he Holds back which is why in the comics and the cartoons Batman and other superheroes call him a "Boy scout". Also New York, Metropolis and Gotham City are relatively close to each other in the DCU. New York is in New York Metropolis is located in Delaware and Gotham is north of Metropolis across the Delaware bay in New Jersey.

The superman robot (Gary) is voiced by Alan Tudyk also from Firefly (Wash)

There was a kryptonite bullet on Smallville.

I loved your reaction guys! ❤ Including the social studies lesson LOL... I highly recommend "Superman The Movie (1978)" BEFORE the Henry Cavil films...  The comparison to the dental chair was hilarious!!

The TV series "Smallville" covers how Lex Luthor comes to hate Superman in great detail, but Luthor has been Superman's opponent almost since the start of the character in 1938.  Their conflict is brains vs muscle (nerds vs jocks).  Lex thinks brains are more important.  Superman/Clark Kent is usually stronger, but is also a good person.  Lex is usually evil.

You need to watch the original Superman starring Christopher Reeves. I probably would have watched that first.

Lucky for you Man of Tommorow which is the next movie Superman in 2027 will have Lex luthor as the co-lead

Superman is my favorite fictional characters of all time. Superman has faced several recurring villains, but Lex is probably the best. For me, Superman (2025) is the closest depiction of Superman’s personality as seen in the comic books. Christopher Reeves’ portrayal is also good, and his first two films are entertaining, but there are a few questionable plot choices. — The newest Supergirl movie has some excellent qualities, but it also has some flaws that stray too far from the true character in my opinion. I feel the same about the Snyder movies, although the cast and production are good.

I am a single person who learned the names of every country in Eastern Europe in school and still remembers them 50 years later.  I could not necessarily make you a list of them, or even tell you, in every case, if one is east or west of a another, but if you say the name of any country in the world, it is unlikely that I would not recognize it.

Kryptonite radiation painfully drives the solar energy out of kryptonian cells and gives them radiation poisoning.
