He admitted in the comments of the Wolf Spider video he goofed. They are NOT 'highly venomous'. Yeah they're venomous, but all spiders are. Wolf Spiders are like our equivalent of Huntsman spiders. Big and scary but harmless to us (he was confusing them with the Brown Reculse iirc).

Argon: "why do these need the bite force of a grizzly? Why?"
MoreParz: "Because why not?" 😂

Leucism is different from albinism in that leucism is partial loss of pigmentation where as albinism is total loss of pigmentation.

6:11 Aussie here, whose parents do wildlife rehab, including kangaroos. Yeah we just had REALLY tall fences, at least 3m if I'm remembering correctly. Said 3m fence did not stop one horny male, however, who jumped over it to get to our females, and then jumped BACK over it when the humans turned up. We had several joeys that year.

Boas are constrictor snakes. They don't need venom or bite force. They just need to coil around you until your body turns I to basically jelly with crunchy bits and eat you whole.

Wolf spiders aren't highly venomous, they don't even represent a threat for humans, they are just nerve racking because they have to climb your body to survive. MoreParz actually made that correction in the comments.

"What in the flaming fuck is that thing?!" I love that... And I agree.

22:22 There is a difference between Leucism and Albinism. They both are the loss of pigment, but albinism is a total lack of melanin. Albinism has a lot of issues associated with it and Leucism is just the lack of some pigmentation cells rather tahn a total lack of a pigment.

Bombardier Beetles! They spray a fluid out and, through a chemical reaction it comes out at basically boiling temperature. So it'll hurt to get sprayed.

So, I think he used two different species of Sand Boa for pictures in that video. The round faced one is the Arabian Sand Boa, but the one you described as looking like 'a duck' appears to be a KENYAN Sand Boa.

Fun fact about the assassin spider, it's been found in amber MILLIONS OF YEARS OLD.

Homie ran with the dinosaurs...

The assassin spider is also known as the ‘pelican’ spider

The wolf spiders bit is incorrect for 2 reasons.

Wolf spiders are not dangerous and not actually used directly to keep pests away, just a happy coincidence.

Also the Assassin Spider is aka the Pelican Spider, and as you may guess, harmless to people and very small.

17:50 whenever I see something about the trapdoor spiders I'm always reminded of that movie with GIANT spiders I don't know if it's called "Damned Spiders" or if that's a literal translation from my mother tongue but the reason I'm reminded of that is because a trapdoor spider sets up camp on a mall's parking lot and someone just picks latter and places it over the trapdoor and walks over the giant trapdoor spider I think most of the movie happens in a mall since a old guy hides in a sports or something else store and when he thinks he's safe a camping tent moves it starts moving whenever he moves or whenever he's got their back to it and it's just so fucking funny how it happens the dude dies though, I also believe there was a mine and it got blown up at the end and I think one of the protagonists gets face to face with a giant spider and remains still and slowly points a perfume bottle at them and starts spraying the spider and the spiger gets disoriented by the smell or something else in the perfume I'm not sure whether or not someone used a makeshift flamethrower with a spray bottle and a lighter

I love seeing people react to the roos bite force being equivalent to a grizzly bear. 😂

As a biologist I can tell you: Taxonomists are not allowed to name new species after themselves.

Fun fact: Some trapdoor spiders keep pet frogs in their holes. The frogs eat little bugs that might threaten the spider's eggs. In return they are completely safe from predators.

The bite force question is simple,  really… who chews? Carnivores have sharp teeth to tear off chunks and swallow them whole. Herbivores have broad teeth and chew their food before swallowing. The plant eater has been exercising their jaw muscles way more than the meat eater has, so as a general rule, an animal that eats tough plants is going to have a stronger bite force than a carnivore. However, if said carnivore has evolved a hunting strategy based around holding on for long periods of time, then they will have bulked out jaw muscles as well.

12:15 in german you might know them as “neuntöter”

that assassin spider look like something from a freaking sci-fi horror movie, they are creepy looking

"Don't tell Guga" lmfao
