"He won't cry, so I cry for him", that is a true friend.

The soundtrack by Basil Poledouris... one of the best scores ever.

"Let Me Tell You Of The Days Of High Adventure." Mako, 1933-2006.

“I live, I love, I slay, and I am content.”- Conan

The soundtrack will always crush all the enemies and see them driven before you

Valeria stood by Conan side for good and bad. She even protected him after her death. This is love men wants.

When Max Von Sydow and James Earl Jones are in your movie..
it becomes an Epic 🥇

Valeria's return as a  Valkyrie "Do you want to live forever?" <3

The late great James Earl Jones helped Arnie with his acting while they were on set together. Even though his English isn't great, Arnie delivers his stoic lines with gravitas and does a lot of dramatic face acting here that would serve him well in Terminator and the rest of his career.  Thusla Doom did truly forge Conan, in many ways 🧐

Yes, that was a giant's skeleton. Sitting on his throne in a cave/tomb. His final resting place. Conan sees it as a good omen and he says "Crom" to honor it.

The furs he wore were the skinned pelts of the wolves that were chasing him. Once he got the sword and left the cave, he slaughtered the pack for food and fur

If you pay attention, you'll see Conan speaks directly to Valeria only once, when they meet. After that, she does all of the talking when together.

Most people don't notice the small detail that immediately after he found the sword in the tomb, he's shown wearing a dog-skin coat.  :)

"Will there be romance" ... just the greatest in movie history

Iirc, Crom's followers usually didn't bother praying to him because they didn't expect him to respond: he gave them the strength they were born with, and that ought to be enough for them.

The machine is called Wheel of Pain. Its a grain mill manually powered by slave labor. The thing was very motivational for alot of guys because it shows resilience and mental strength and physical endurance. If you also notice everyone pushing were gone and dead, while he kept pushing. This scene become iconic enough that it was made into a real equipment in Arnold classic powerlifting competition where competitors have to push the wheel and the one that pushes the most wins. I love that scene.

"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women."

“There comes a time, thief, when the jewels cease to sparkle. When the gold loses its luster, when the throne room becomes a prison and all that is left is a father's love for his child.”
Lines like this are why Conan is not only one of the best fantasy films ever but a very important character in the history of fiction.

This character is so much bigger than people realize. The original author committed suicide at a young age but other writers used notes and unfinished stories and at one time I owned 47 different Conan paperbacks by different authors and dozens of Conan and King Conan comics
