THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!
RIP, Sir Sean Connery, 1930-2020
RIP Michael Kamen, 1948-2003
RIP, Freddie Mercury, lead singer of Queen, 1946-1991.
They made this movie "a kind of magic."

Clancy Brown as the Kurgan is one of the best movie villains of all time. There can be only one

Clancy Brown, ladies and gentlemen. One of the more underappreciated actors out there.

The pitch to Sean Connery…
Studio: “We’re making a movie about the Scottish clans which will be filmed in the Scottish Highlands.”
Sean: “Sounds good. What part will I be playing.”
Studio: You’ll be a two thousand year old Egyptian who has lived in Japan and works for the King of Spain.”
Sean: “Where do I sign you beautiful bastard?!”

The "Who Wants To Live Forever" scene with Heather aging gets me every time.

Always loved how Kurgen's "disguise" is about as effective as putting a lampshade on an elephant.

The gentleman playing his cousin Angus was the old man in Braveheart and Lord Commander Mormont in Game of Thrones. The movie has a Frenchman playing a Scot, a Scot playing an Egyptian and an American playing a Russian.

It’s explained in later movies and the show and animated series that whenever an immortal takes another immortal’s head they gain their memories, skills, and power! The more heads they take the more powerful the immortal becomes!

Queen killed the soundtrack! Took the movie from great to epic

Christopher lambert is practically blind without his glasses. All the fights he held out his blade and relied on the others to make it look like a fight.

The quickening, when an immortal takes the head of another immortal.

Thirty years later, I’m still floored by the fact that Christopher Lambert did these sword fights blind as a bat. Couldn’t see two feet in front of him without his glasses and he’s one of cinema’s most memorable sword fighters. It’s why his gaze appears so otherworldly. Both the character and the actor literally exist in a blur.

the Kurgan was in "Shawshank Redemption" as a prison guard, in "Starship Troopers" as sergeant Zil, also in "John Wick 4" as the duel adjudicator.

This soundtrack is the best. What a fantastic album. This film is so ridiculous it's one of my favourites!

One of the best film soundtracks ever.

I heard that Sean Connery found out that the director said that they needed someone like Sean Connery so he called them up and was cast. Connery also recorded the intro in his toilet.
