As the editor, this one is extra special to me — I grew up watching Conan the Barbarian, so getting to work on this reaction felt like answering the call of Crom himself ⚔
I did my best to keep as much of that legendary music and epic vibe as possible while still giving you a great viewing experience. I really hope you’re happy with how this edit turned out… and if not, may Crom at least appreciate the effort 😄

Thanks for watching and supporting the channel — enjoy the ride! 🔥

The artist Frank Frazetta deserves some credit for revitalizing Robert Howard's characters.

This has to be one of the best scores ever! Basil Poledoris did amazing. He also scored Robocop a d Starshop Troopers.

Before The Lord of the Rings movies this is the few films that actually presented the fantasy genre in film respectfully

I'm over 60 year old, and still, whenever I need to motivate myself with powerful music, I come back to Conan soundtrack. Basil Poledoris was such a genius...

It's over 40 years since I first saw the movie, and Mako's voice still gives me goosebumps!😍

Smart girl. Nobody else even notices after the fact that he killed and skinned those wolves, and you predicted it. Bravo.

That wasn't Crom in shining armor, that was Valeria. She even told Conan, that if she died and he was still fighting, she would come and fight beside him.

This movie is filled with amazing little details. Like the way Conan repeats his pit fighter days' salute towards Valeria's pyre after killing Rexor. It was in the fighting pits he first learned he mattered, that people admired him. And he saluted them. Valeria showed him another kind of worth, showed him not admiration but love beyond even death. And so, he salutes her.

The narrator and actor who played Akiro the Wizard is Mako a Japanese American film and stage actor for over 50 years. He’s also an Academy, Golden Globe, and Tony award nominated actor.

The movie that made Arnold a star! His acting here is admittedly not the greatest, but his charisma and screen presence are off the charts, and that was enough. Glad to see you recognizing the greatness of the Basil Poledouris music -- one of the all-time best soundtracks! Seeing your reaction really takes me back to my teenage years, devouring a steady diet of sword & sorcery novels, D&D games, and gloriously cheesy movies like this. Another great movie from this era you should check out is "Excalibur", with Nicol Williamson as Merlin, and a young Helen Mirren as Morgana...classic!

Basil Poledouris is one of my favourite movie score composers. This, Robocop, Starship Troopers, The Hunt For Red October….he was so good at capturing the feel of a film with music. I listen to a lot of movie scores while I’m driving (I drive hours a day for my job) and this one is always in my playlist.
