As I said before it’s important to understand the development of thought and research that took place over a decade in between these two sermons for Tim Mackie. I think when taken as a pair they reveal so much more than they do on their own.
This next sermon which I have be lovingly titled “the melody.“ Is one that completely changed my way of viewing the Bible.
If we claim to be Christians, Jesus needs to be our compass and Northstar for understanding the truth of scripture.
In this episode we’re going to explore the three parts structure that Jesus gives us to understand the Old Testament and Hebrew narrative that he put flesh on.

Years ago when the sermon first came out I fell in love with it and listen to it often.
I was in shock when I came back to search for it online and could not find it anywhere.
Turns out it had been deleted and removed from anywhere on the Internet. I searched everywhere.
Luckily on one of my first viewings of the sermon I had actually Screen recorded the entire thing on my phone.
Many have portions of this sermon out there, but I promise you that this is the only full version of This very impactful sermon that you will find online. God gets the glory for it all and I am just so grateful that we all have this great teaching to learn from.
