I have chewed on this passage for a number of years. Thank you for a clearer vision of it.

Love in the Bible is not primarily an emotion, it's a commitment to action.
In our culture it is something that happens to us. You fall in love, which causes real problems
when you fall out of love.
Love is a commitment to act for the well being of another person ahead of my own well being.
Love is the mark of a follower of Jesus. If you give your allegiance to Lord Jesus who loved you, gave up His life for you, Jesus' followers are marked as people who do this for others.

I’m so amazed at God right now! I read Bright Valley of Love a few years ago and just started rereading it and wanted to learn more about Bethel. That book shook me to my core and quite actually changed my life. I had wondered where I could learn more about how it began. This video just came up on my feed this morning ❤

Love the focus of your lessons, the scriptures, the biblical focus..subtly is important.  You said if a man is powerful he gets things done while first saying if a woman is powerful, don't cross her. Your words...Tim, see the subtly there.  Keep preaching his word. MK

We are born sick. And without jesus you can't see  I came from so much trauma and abuse that I can't tell you, I also have three disabled children whom have stayed safe, loved and cared for that has been jesus not me. Amen🙏

i love the way he explains praying through times of struggle and trials  "you're on a journey, and this is an opportunity for you to lean into Jesus in a new way that you have never had to trust Jesus before".. (this becomes a moment of growth)..    this is a really encouraging and uplifting way of thinking- throughout every challenge you face in life.
