That bridge is killer. Instantly obsessed. “When you wake up next to him in the middle of the night, with your head in your hands you’re nothing more than his wife!” - such a good lyric.

5:43 i dont know if Chappell roan studied engineering but she made the best bridge possible ❤❤❤❤😢

No self-control, me sees Chappell Roan, me clicks 🧌

Her performance of this Jimmy Fallon is probably the one I would recommend the most to see this song live (if you go that route, watch the interview too, she's hilarious).  The VMA performance was amazing too but seems to be getting copyright struck a lot from what I can tell by other reaction channels.  :)

Oh man you guys have no idea what you’ve gotten yourself into.  Her album is incredible.

I'm surprised I haven't seen  any comments suggesting the Tiny Desk live performances.  So good.

Chappell: rhymes with apple and Roan: rhymes with phone :) great reaction!

I like how her voice feels like 80s

She reminds a bit of Kate Bush and Cyndi Lauper with those vocal scoops and chirps but her delivery is still unique and vocally she's got a hell a lot to work with.

Listen to the lyrics guys. It's a nice twist on what you think. Then listen to Pink Pony Club by Chappell. (as in church)

Bad Romance comes to mind - Good Luck Babe is an undeniable NEW pop classic with an unforgettable chorus.

"We have to react to something live."  YES. Yes, you do. Her performance of this on Jimmy Fallon is excellent, and her Tiny Desk concert is an absolute treat.

P.S. I think you would enjoy the whole album and would love to watch you react to that as well!

Oh god I get so excited to see people react to this song for the first time… especially that BRIDGE

Welcome to the Pink Pony Club!

We are far enough removed from the 80s now that our kids can feel like they are making something original and we can hear all the comforts of our childhood.

TINY DESK CONCERT! ALL THE ICE CREAM CAN BE HAD AT THE TINY DESK CONCERT! LMAO

There’s something about the combo of someone wearing an ESPN shirt while listening to Chappell Roan 😂💕

She has one of those voices that just takes you off guard. You wouldn’t expect it from the visual.

she literally has said the best way to listen to this is in your car on a summer day

Pronouncing help! it is Chapel like the church and Roan like the end of chaperone, Chappel Roan. Also, it is now required that you listen to her album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess because omg she's the next big thing! Specifically: Pink Pony Club, Red Wine Supernova, HOT TO GO and Casual

Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess is probably my favorite album of all time. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Her stage name "Chappell Roan" is inspired by her grandfather: "Chappell Roan was a name that came from a singular and endearing inspiration: her grandfather. She had a close relationship with him, and when he died, Amstutz wanted to honor him. His name was Dennis K. Chappell, so Chappell became the first name. His favorite song was Strawberry Roan by Curley Fletcher, so Roan was the last name. And thus, Chappell Roan was born."
