Me and a friend heard this album for the first time a week ago (very very high i might add) and it was probably the best music experience I have ever had

I had tickets to the original show in NY in 1979. I've seen The Wall performed live total of 4x. Brilliant, every time.

My Father played both "dark side of the moon", and "the wall" a LOT while my brother and I were kids....pink floyd is part of my soul...the music has always been with me. Thank you, Dad

The lyrics really matter with Pink Floyd! This is one of their best albums, hands down. The Wall is metaphorical, the walls that we build throughout our lives and experience. Pink Floyd is experienced, not merely listened to. Animals, Wish You Were Here, The Wall, Dark Side Of The Moon =perfection.

The magnificence that is Pink Floyd.

Im 52. I was 5 when this came out and got to listen to it for the first time when I was 14.
Now imagine what a power like this does to a young mind.
I know this album like the back of my hand. Its a part of my emotional DNA, as most PF albums are.
Great reaction. You took it like a man.
Animals will rock your socks off 😅

I saw the premiere of the movie as a teenager here in Hungary; along with the ticket, everyone received the lyrics in a little booklet, in both English and Hungarian. I still have it!

Animals should be the next stop. By far the most dejected and angry that Pink Floyd have ever been and my personal favorite. If not that one then Wish You Were Here is also amazing and one of the saddest Floyd albums centering around the departure of founding member Syd Barrett due to drug induced schizophrenia.

My older brother introduced me to this album 25 years ago when I was 14. It's a legit piece of art I haven't listened to in a few years and this just popped up randomly. Loved listening to this with your commentary and the chat, Thanks.
